Still unplayable. Still no patch. Pathetic.

On another note: There's a huge Activision sale on Xbox Live, but not PSN Store. Still no BO2 information, footage or images of the PS3 version. All are from the 360 version.

COD4 and MW2 could be fixed on the PS3 since the latest firmwares are secure, but because the 360 is still completely hacked these games aren't going to be fixed on any platform. Money talks.

Since I am moving to Mississippi next week and have to change my internet provider to Cable One (they limit downloads per month to 100gig), I have been downloading as many TV shows as I can at my current house.  I can honestly say that it doesn't help me to mess with my connection speed by downloading torrents.  Over the last week, I have averaged 20 downloads per day.  When I play MW3, I have to stop downloading because I am constantly behind everyone.  The lag/sync issues, in my opinion, have a lot to do with how the matchmaking works.  Yesterday, I had Elite up when I was playing and was checking where the people were located at when I was behind.  What I found out was that they were from other countries, i.e. mexico, the UK, Japan etc....When the game ran the best was when the people I was playing with were within 750 miles.  When playing with a lobby that was full of local players, the game ran flawlessly.  However, if ONE person was placed into the lobby that was from Mexico, the UK, etc, the game went to crap.  Please fix this.  There's no reason that ONE persons crappy connection should ruin the gaming experience for 11 others....  Thanks for the ear..

No company will ever limit a person or prevent a person from playing a game online through the console based upon network bandwidth. So that idea will never happen, so you might as well forget it right now. Plus it is the console makers choice on what is acceptable to play online and any developer that tried to say otherwise could probably face having their game denied access by the console, something a game developer does not want to ever face. So again not ever going to happen.

Choosing to pay for a better internet does not gurantee you the right or the privilege to have better game experience over someone who either can not afford it or does not have it available in their area. And yes there are still many cities and towns that do not offer cable or adsl packages and no they should not be denied access to the game just to make players like you happy. So once more accept that fact that you are not speical or entitled to any speical play rights above anyone else just because you choose to pay more for your internet than someone else.

Playing games on consoles in not like buying cars or houses where those with more money get better choices. It has never been like that, nor will it ever be like that or at least not until the entire world has a standardized connection where everyone has near the same bandwidth regardless of where they live. So until that ever happens, no they are not going to deny players access to the online game just so you can be happy about paying for a higher internet package. You are not special because of it.

sorry but being able to recieve a internet signal in a apartment is not the same as paying for internet and that is not fair for the people who do pay for internet. they are basicly stealing peoples signal and if there is no third party intereference to stop people that pay for internet then they shoud be able to limit what they can and can not play

Does it really matter when the next patch is? The game will still be hacked... @candy & @teanah look into Xbox 360 gamer tag [Removed by Moderator]... The guy is a total hacker and makes it more than obvious. For any of you fellow forumites that run into him... Just report him and move on...

Actually no they cannot. It is MS and Xbox that sets the standards of what is acceptable to online game play. If a company every tried to deny players the ability to play online because their ping/bandwidth was not what the developer thought was good. MS/Xbox could deny that game the right to use the Xbox live service.

Those with low bandwidth are not always stealing internet from someone else. To think that or try to use that just proves you do not really have an idea of what types of connections may only be avialable in different parts of the country. Not every city or town has the same type of level of connection as any other city or town.

In my city there is only DSL, and the max UL the company offers is 756kb, with up to a 20mb down speed for certain areas and only a 3mb down for the rest. So unless you want to pay for me to move to one of the parts of town that gets the 20mb and pay for it then you really have no say it what should be acceptable to play online or not.

Plus my service uses badwidth throttling in high traffic times which causes my DL to drop from 3mb to about 1mb and my UL to drop from 756kb to 235kb because they oversold the area and do not have any plants to upgrade anytime soon to fix it.

So if I choose to play during those times which somtimes is the only time I have to play, then I basically only get a 3-2 bar connection. So unless you or someone else want to pay to move me and all my things to another city where that does not happen, this is all I have to deal with and use and should not be denied the right to play just because you think those with lesser connections should not be allowed online because it may lessen your game play and ruin your stats in a video game that mean nothing outside of the video game.

so because you live in an area that has crappy internet, those that have paid for better inernet have no room to talk when the game lags because someone like you is in the lobby. Is that what your implying? cause that kind of thinking is childish and unfair for those that paid. the internet is not a right it is a privalige that you get if you can afford it and becasue you live in a are that has crappy internet does not mean that we should pay for you to move to a better area. it should be the other way around you should have to move to get the better service.

"[Removed by Moderator]" just a comment I heard earlier from a player that was basically untouchable and having 30+ kills in a TDM... Hmmm... And now I understand why trialstardragon defends this game so hard...
