More recoil!!

After seeing these trailers and watching the wii u live event (which i posted as a link for aug or tar 21), i noticed the the weapons had more recoil! especially for the ak-47!!! which is a good thing because it looks like the ak is more powerful! What do you think?

    I think it is a good thing having more recoil on the weapons to make it a more challenging and realistic experience. I also can't wait to see the new guns in the game and gadgets. One thing I hope they change is the power of the shotguns, especially in GE's multiplayer one shot and you are dead. I hope they do something about that. The shotguns in Goldeneye are like the golden gun- one shot one kill!

     

    If the guns have more recoil and 007 Legends includes Bond guns and unique ones, this will make Legends stand out from COD and other major titles coming out this year.

      Well another thing they should change is that some guns were unbalanced. for example the M4 was more powerful than the AK-47 in GoldenEye and the scar was also op

        I totally agree! The power and range of all the guns in Goldeneye reloaded is all over the place! Some submachine guns were more powerful than the AK-47... And the ak is once of the most powerful guns in real life! Hopefully they can learn this from GE reloaded and make more recoil and balance out the power and range of all the weapons a bit. ESPECIALLY the shotguns!   Playing multiplayer on GE with people running around spraying me with a shotgun that kills in one shot is really annoying! Also people sniping me across the map with a shotgun is just taking the joke O_O

        I haven't actually played the wii version of Goldeneye but I have heard the firing rate of the P99 is better than the xbox and playstation version. Also I heard the recoil and power is more balanced which is why some people prefer the wii copy. I hope they use this in 007 Legends! I think I might get my wii booted up again and pick up a copy of it to see what it's like Or actually i might buy 007 Legends first then buy itand wait till it is dirt cheap haha!

          I actually have the wii version and I must tell you that it's harder and I really enjoyed it way more than Reloaded, and you will always find an online match! And the wii version had more recoil and the AK-47 was pretty balanced but the M16 wasn't at all, it was too overpowered!

            that is very true. even though the xbox/playstation version had better graphics, the wii version was more james bond-like. Even though more people play the xbox or playstation version, the wii version is more enjoyable. Also, many people level up quickly because many people have entered hacked games. Overall, i think the wii version is better

    Yeah. The wii version of goldeneye had more recoil than reloaded, and I think that partially contributes to how I think that the game has a better feel on the Wii.

     

    Thank goodness there's recoil...

      Yes it's great that there is recoil in the game, because it will not be like most of the other games out there that have no recoil what so ever on the guns.

       

      I also hope there is a faster fire rate on the P99. On the xbox/playstation version it is slow, and feels strange.

       

      It will make it a more challenging and realistic experience. It will be very good! Goldeneye Reloaded was a start, hopefully the developers can learn from their mistakes and make 007 Legends even better! That is something COD doesn't do, it is the same thing every year that Black ops and Modern warfare nerds scream over.. Whereas Bond games are different, it switches from 1st person to 3rd sometimes. And the guns and storyline are different in every game.

       

      I have said this a million times, I AM SO EXCITED FOR 007 LEGENDS!!

        Realistic? I take it youre a fan of the daniel craig era as no bond film other than those can be classed as realistic..undersea bases and giants who can bite through steel cables etc..realism isnt what I want as a bond fan. I want globe trotting, card playing and over the top villains.

        Well it is kinda normal for the p99 since the trigger pull is long so that's to be expected

    Lets just hope the game captures the spirit of the movies as I believe Goldeneye reloaded did, Lets hope the walther plays a promenent part as, again, it did in Goldeneye R. I cant wait for the game but Im gutted that theyre will be no showdown with Scaramanga!

      Yeah. But it really pisses me off that the whole game is going to have Daniel Craig instead of having each actor star in each film he was in or at least make dlc or something to be roger moore or sean connery in the multiplayer

          They wont mate, Unless sales go mental, which unfortunately they wont I suspect. Itd be great to have a multi player where u selected ur  favourite Bond...Ahhh but thats in a world where money, contracts and weapon advancement means nothing...I'd love to live in such a universe! Haha

        apparently its down to contracts etc....Id love a Moore game too, its good for continuation in the game though...It was very weird having daniel craig doing the brosnan part  in goldeneye R but great too!

          Yeah you're right. well I hope they have dlc or something to be classic bonds in the multiplayer cuz my favorite bond has to be... well my 2 favorites are Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan. But it was nice to have a GoldenEye game cuz GoldenEye was the first Bond movie I saw despite the fact that I was born in the 90s

            I hope so too mate but it wont happen, I grew up with Moore as Bond and used to **** myself when Jaws was around so at least im pleased hes involved..saying that Daniel craigs bond would probably have just shot him instead of trying to get him in a headlock or looking for a giant magnet to stick him to! Im going to be interested to see how Danny boy deals with him!

                Yeah I saw him on soccer AM...the only thing that bothers me with that is....well, erm...can u remember much dialogue with Jaws in the movies? I dont...My head hurts!!!

                    I think when every Bond fan hears there is going to be 6 James Bond films in one game, we all expected to have each actor's likeness in each mission.

                     

                    But of course Daniel Craig is the the current Bond and he will be Bond throughout the whole game... It would be a lot better to have each actor, But at the same time it does make sense having Daniel Craig in the game.

                     

                    The recoil doesn't really matter, as long as they include modern and classic guns then I am happy! But it would be good to have a bit of recoil but not too much. I don't like too much recoil, that's why I hate Battlefield! But it is a really realistic game.

                        Yeah haha! Well on most of the discussions we usually comment and talk about the question (recoil) for a while and then move onto other things such as Bond in general. It isn't a bad thing though!   I still included it in my previous comment

                          The important thing to note is that it is after the third reply and onwards that unsightly spaces start to appear between increasingly squashed posts. I hope Activision fix this for the forums of the next 007 game after Legends.

                            Yes they do, I noticed that as well!  It isn't a major problem, but when I want to read over people's comments It is annoying seeing all them stuck together. Is this a problem on the other forms such as Black Ops II? Or is it all the activision game websites? Thanks for pointing this out
