can u get back youre clan leadership if a nother member seems to have been given it

I log on to my clan on Saturday and I noticed that my manage clan button had gone when I checked my rosta i saw that another member had my clan ,this member has not logged into mw3 for over 2weeks can i get it back an other way than getting him to promote me back to clan leader.

I'm afraid that's a no, I don't understand how that has happened but that is the only way
