Predator missles have toned down some. They got replaced with the two I just mentioned. I also see a lot of players spamming infinite grenades. Even godmode has made a comeback. Or at least I guess that's what it's called when players just don't die. I think the most annoying is when a sniper is shooting me through everything on the map from his spawn right when a match starts.
I can vouch that I also see all the hacking behavior that like2nap03 is seeing at about the same frequency. Not sure where others are playing. Maybe because of their locations they are ending up on different hosts with different folks in different lobbies or something, but here on the East Coast of the USA I'm seeing exactly what like2nap03 describes about exactly.

Interesting discussion. I really hate the hackers, glitchers, and tk'ers that have ruined this game and others before. I guess I'm old school and believe that competition is supposed to be based on one's skills and achievements. Some of these guys to me are like people doing the Boston Marathon on a Seqway and laughing at all the people they are passing up in the race. What is the point?
On the other hand, the only thing that bothers me about them is that they subject others to their hacking. I'm all for "unlimited" lobbies where people can hack all they want and put their hacks up against other people's hacks. But just as in racing, you can't bring your unlimited game to a non-unlimited match and expect to be welcome. In fact, you should be kicked.
Americas Army has the right idea on aggressively stepping on hacking, so even though it is reportedly still possible, I gather most hackers simply avoid Americas Army because they are so unwelcome there.
I run sitrep pro typically and sometimes get accused of hacking because I know "right where they are". But sitrep pro gives you what I call the "poor man's heartbeat sensor" that only the dead silence perk or creeping around can defeat and my accusers typically run everywhere making a lot of racket. So yeah, I often *do* know exactly where they are alot of the time.
The most reliable way to detect a "redbox" hacker that I know if is to run blind eye and assassin pro and don't make a sound and see if they keep coming straight to you: redboxer if so. Penetration shots on your location when you haven't even moved since respawning in some dark corner and no one in sight is a big giveaway also if you are running blind eye and assassin pro.
The use of a lag switch is also fairly easy to detect if you are repeatedly lagged just before you are killed by the same player. The effect is that the player seems to just suddenly be on you and shooting after a second before they were much further away, perhaps with their back turned even. Like they teleported.
Then there is the actual "teleport" hack where the literally teleport themselves to your location. Not sure if it was a hacked lobby or not, but in one match I was teleported under the map with several other players and the hacker just sprayed us all. I'm thinking that was a lobby thing and not a player thing.
And use of a predator drone fairly obvious evidence of hacking also!
Not sure I agree with folks saying that hacking is rare. But I do agree there are some very good legit players out there. Much better than me. I kind of wish there were a way for players to choose to stay in their "weight class" if they wished. Like wrestling or boxing, they average guys wouldn't have to always spend entire matches merely trying to survive.
My K/D hovers around 2 typically, just over on BLOPS, and just under on MW3. My recommendations for dying less:
1. Use cover to mask movement.
2. Only go into the open when necessary, and if so stick to backdrops that mask you better visually from the direction of likely fire.
3. Hold perfectly still when looking for the enemy; not only does it make you harder to see, it makes the movement any enemy really stand out to you. Do this with ADS going if possible.
4. Move in short bursts of movement (1s max if possible) with freezes like an animal does. The idea is that if your movement attracts attention in someone's peripheral vision, by the time they look your way you have frozen and are hard to see, then while they scan the scene for what it was they saw, you shoot them, because you are, of course, scanning ADS for any movement in your field of view (keeping gun still until you see them).
Watch a cat stalk a bird. Its all about movement and non-movement.
5. NEVER pull the trigger until your sights are *on target*. Getting your first bullet on target is your highest priority, not how many bullets you can spray in their general direction before they fire. The more you shoot without hitting them, the more of a muzzle flash they have to return fire upon with no hits on them upsetting their aim. If, however, your first bullet hits them, then your second and so on will be much more likely to do as you are already on target, and also those initial shots will make it much harder for them to return accurate fire.
6. Use your brain, not your spleen. Never assume that getting mad/angry will somehow make you more lucky or powerful. Magical thinking only hurts the bearer. People who behave like this are very easy to hunt down and kill as they get more and more predictable and more and more sloppy the angrier they get. Which of course makes them angrier. At which point they typically call the person owning them a hacker and rage quit.
With your three posts you have written more than my 2000 something.

Very true. The game itself isnt right, a lot of non-common sense put innto this game, then here comes the internet. You are powerful 1 minute and then you suck the next. Then the people that can control some of the problems dont care about the wii. Then you add hackers/cheaters. Put it all in a bowl and mix it up and you have ****. If you play with **** then you get shitty. Then you stink. Then you get mad. I think that sums up MW3. BLACK OPS 2!!!!!!!!!!! Wheres the trash can. Just more ****. Clean up the **** that you made before making more ****. I wouldnt buy BLACKS OPS 2 if the company bought me a wii-u.

You know what I hate more than hackers? Finally finding a legit match with legit players only to have them all accuse me of hacking and leave after the match. Then you get into another hacker filled lobby.
Whether it's hackers, or people quitting cause they lose, it's the people that ruined this game.
On a side note I actually played 4 hack free matches in a row tonight in 4 different lobbies. I had kdr's between 2.5 and 7 and everyone left, but the next match had no hackers. I was also lucky enough to join each match right as they started. I decided to stop after 4 though. I was in such a good mood that I didn't want a hacker filled lobby to ruin it.

I know how that feels. Believe me. I run 35-10 with the M16A4 and people accuse me of hacking with because im good with a "crappy gun". Then they all leave, and hackers swarm in. Now i play Mercenary (MUCH better than TDM) but it still happens occasionally. CaP's severely ruin this game. They, are the worst part of the community, without a shred of doubt. It really grinds my gears that people need to resort to cheating to have fun. Dont play the game if your utter garbage at the game- may sound harsh but it's true.

How many people on average play Mercenary? I can only play very late at night (very early morning really) during the week and There's only like 1300 - 1700 people playing TDM. Never more than a hunderd or so in any other game mode. I don't even bother because I figure it will be hard to find a match.
I may try Mercenary earlier in the day though when I can. So how many people play that?

Hmm...I live in Quebec, and i dont know time zones well...but i play mostly at 7:00 am for at least a hour. At this time...theres a mostly 20-60 at any given time on Mercenary. Its a little difficult to find a game, however when you find one you'll have a good time.
