Completely overshadowed by it's superior brother (the mp9), the skorpion often finds itself wondering where it fits in the world of mw3. The only edge it has over the MP9 is a slightly better hipfire spread.
So with that, there isn't much of a point to use the lonely skorpion other than just to be different and give it some love.
Not to say it's a bad weapon, its perfectly capable of putting enemies down with ease, and still serves as a great back up weapon. I found that it was better to use extended mags with this weapon as opposed to a silencer.
While still good with a silencer, it didn't do too well with further distances in my experience. As you should expect really with a machine pistol. Do you guys have any love for the skorpion?
Nice clip I used to love them before I ventured into the world of the handguns. I think for holding down any small area where the enemy is about to flood you or as a back up to a sniper they're pretty nippy.
It sure is the ugly step-bro, but it sure can do some great damage. I say those akimbo'd outclass all the other machine pistols, BUT all the other machine pistols outclass the skorpions when using other attachments. I run MP9 all day and find myself getting more kill with the skorps when akimbo'd, maybe it's just me though.
Not my video, and this has been posted recently, however, i just wanted to repost, as the OP actually mentioned in the video, that akimbo, the scorpion's are pretty awesome. I agree. They are my preferred akimbo machine pistol.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I agree that these things are better for akimbo as they do have a better hip fire spread. Plus they have a unique popcorn like sound which makes me happy and warm inside.
Outside of akimbo, they just don't quite do enough to make me want to use it over the MP9. Cheers to the skorpion.

I've used them a lot since 1st prestige, and one i'm finding equally fun, but more challenging is akimbo 44mags (though admittedly i ususally use the tac knife). just cause it's so bad a$$ having two 44 magnums and it does **** some serious face.
i'd like to see more attachment options for pistols honestly. Holographic sight maybe??? silencers??? /shrug
Heh, yeah I love the sound wombat, it makes me happy. And, well, hungry.Having more attachments on the pistol would be awesome. I loved having an acog scope on the python in BO. That was a lot of fun.
I have a decent amount already done Wombat, just have to do some voice over. I do however plan on getting to the pistols. I think I'm going to use the magnum without the akimbo setup. Even though it's amazing, I'm trying to get all the weapons moab'd just by themselves in a singular form. =)
Yeah lol. Once you get used to it, its a beast. Its a very up close and personal weapon. No point in shooting at anyone unless they are right in front of you lol. Its a challenge and one i like. Giv eit a shot
