Was on the dreaded outpost trying out the P90 when I found a RSASS thought what the hey and snatched it up in my mind easily the best sniper once it's got silencer and vari-scope.
I like it best in HC (I might be just a wee bit biased since I only play HC modes lol). But I agree, it's easily my favorite sniper rifle, and I can use it in Core also
I get so many rage messages when I use that gun... Nothing like emptying a silenced clip into a cluster of enemies and they're all dead before they realise what's happening
I'm old fashioned I like looking through a scope but there's nothing quite like jack in the boxing off the ground surrounded by 5 of the enemy and you drop them with a silenced RSASS with vari-scope before they can even get off a shot.
I understand what you're saying. I used the MSR to get the perfectionists tite and I use the Barrett on regular. Being inexperienced, I tend to used them only on a few maps.
