Some_Help

I don't know if this is the right place;

 

I've re installed COD II on steam; I was wondering do people still play this online? I bought it when it was released but im now starting to play; im having trouble connecting to Multiplayer Games;

 

I have version 2.2.208 installed do i have to buy and install the map packs e.g. ?

 

I try to go to the join game page but other players will not join.. Ive waited and still the other players will not join.

 

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Considering it's not in the top 100 games played on Steam, the problem might very well be lack of players.

     

    Now, people don't have to play on Steam so surely the player pool is larger than what Steam says, but I'd say it's a pretty good indicator of what kind of numbers you're looking at.

     

    I never really played CoD2 much... try playing the most popular gametype (w/e that was back then) when it was in it's hayday.  Maybe the die hards are there.
