Maps need to be more Sniper friendly, make a REAL Sniper's map

I know people are probably going to say "how are mapes not sniper friendly, i get QS'ed all the time" but i dont mean friendly for quickscoping. I mean friendly to a real sniper.
Some maps like Wasteland from MW2. If you want a new one, maybe have it all open ground, with a few Birds' nest's scattered around the map at uneven heights and some underground or covered routes to move from Nest to Nest safely... A REAL map for those who don't like to trickshot. Have this/these maps where it is vital to be patient, but quick to flick you're scope to the side and pull of the first shot as accurately as possible before the others even know where you're perched, at distances where a mere millimetre makes the difference between a kill, and giving away your position.
Please comment if you like this idea, or you have some ideas yourself.
Does anyone agree with this? CoD need a map purely for the snipers that are truly skilled, being able to hit shots from extreme ranges rather than point-blank no-scopes...
i think there should be a game mode for snipers only.
also interchange is the most sniper friendly map on mw3 to me .
I would say this game is just not for snipers proper and most people seem to like it that way. The majority of maps are basically boxing rings or mazes, and those that are bit more wide open are complained about and avoided because there's "not enough action". I think it's just the nature of this game.
The ability to set up your rifle to quick-scope makes it possible to use a sniper rifle effectively in this moshpit style fighting, but it also creates insta-death Golden Gun condition where you only have to see an enemy and he dies. This is totally unlike using a rocket or a shotgun. It's completely silly and unrealistic, but it's allowed for within the game's mechanics and in its defence, at least it makes the sniper rifles an option.
Unless you disabled the ability to quick-scope then there would continue to be no place for long maps, and people would just conintinue to hate on any map that wasn't a knifefight.
With the ways snipers are balanced right now, every map is a sniper map. If you want a long range map more suited for traditional sniping, than snipers need to be nerfed close range to be inefficient on maps that are "non-sniper." Hope that makes sense.
Agreed and mentioned about before. But others did not like that idea. For then it would gimp the sniper and make them too hard to use especially on most of the maps in the game, not all. Some are good for sniping but the majority are not.
I would love for one or two dedicated sniper maps. I think it would be awesome if there was a massive BF3 style map that could only be sniped on. Even make it into a game mode. The idea would be something like this:
TDM - First team to 10,000 Points wins. However, scoring points for your team isn't based purely upon the +100 model per kill. You'd get the initial kill points, plus extra points per "meter" that your shot is, in addition to whether or not it's a headshot/vital shot, aswell as whether or not the person was sprinting. All of these would factor into the score (which means it wouldn't take forever on a huge map to reach the 10,000 point limit).
I don't see it ever happening however, but it would definitely be the only game mode I'd play I imagine, especially if the map was properly designed.
As unlikely as it is, I would still love to see something along these lines being added into the game, it takes more skill to pop someones head from a long way out than it does to pull the trigger and hope to kill from point blank range
