Why do i lag?

My ISP is above average, why am i getting 2 or 3 bar connection? It shouldnt happen. I have tried everything, adjusting my router, kicking my family off the internet(lol), I've even tried disconnecting my router then rebooting. I have called my ISP about it and they dont see any problems with their internet. It's not cool when i empty a few shotgun shells into someones face and they teleport behind me and magically knife lunge me.
MW3 servers are crap, ever since the elite drops it just been getting worse, its not on your end, its them and they dont give a damn about fixing it..why? because they already have your money
I have exactly the same, generally find playing on 4 bars or 5 and suddenly bang it's 3 then 2 and 1. Wonderful having to expend a full mag to kill someone as a helo or pave low stutters across the sky. Then I listen to the accents in the lobby, when did i suddenly find myself playing with yanks. At least in PC gaming you have some control of where you're playing.
The last couple of nights have been particularly bad for lag but in my case I think that it has to do with the hurricane moving through the Gulf of Mexico. It started getting bad when the hurricane landed and hasn't let up. And for some reason I keep getting put in lobbies with folks from that region. It seems like both teams are lagging for the most part. So I'm still getting some good games but it's making the burst fire weapons pretty useless.
I have a 50/10mbs fibre optic connection and lag and host lag has always been bad.
But since TU 1.19 it's been terrible. I constantly get 2/3 bar lobbies with folk speaking unfamiliar languages. I live in Germany but the other day I was in a South African based lobby. Makes no sense whatsoever.
Because this game is terrible and the devs are far too incompetent to fix the issues. That much is glaringly obvious this far into the game's lifespan No other explanation needed.

Yet you bought the game, you play the game and you will continue to purchase future games from these developers, makes sense.
BTW games fine for me.
Games fine with you because your internet is sup-par compared to the rest of us. Not saying its bad. Its just not as good as others. So your on the better end of the lag comp. Besides how would you know your game is running fine? you either boost, or are just very bad at the game. last 5 matches you went 1/12, 0/8, 0/2, 2/12, 1/10.

I have been having the same issue. Not sure what is going on. Alot of times I think most players are reduceing there up load speed to gain the advantage. But today I think that there are some things going on at microsoft. Plus alot of people have the beta dasboard now. No telling what kind of problems that is causing. Or IW could be doing there usuall and putting this game into abandon ware now that they have made all there money.
Feel sorry for the OP and hundreds of thousands of other gamers who thought the inherent LAgovercompensation in MW3 was actually thier fault and went to all kinds of trouble messing with their router settings calling their ISP, Buying new modems/routers, asking on forums how to fix issues caused by a broken game that will no longer be supported in another 2 months .
The people at activision/IW/sledghammer are cowards for letting people think its their fault and not the game.
But hey we got a one month extension on ELITE service that was broken for months and months.
Activision milking the customer dry.
