Has this particular streak always been able to shoot through ceilings?

With that question please read the following......

I was playing DOM on seatown last night when someone called in an escort airdrop (at the bottom of the spiral staircase near "A") After it had arrived I jumped through the window that leads to the balcony area which overlooks "B". (also "A" if you turn the corner) at which time the darn thing shot me through the ceiling. I have always known that it will shoot at you if you get near it, but I never thought (Like attack helicopters) that they could shoot through ceilings. Lol.
