Will EMP scorestreak affect K9 unit?

Seeing as EMP disables all electronical killstreaks, I was wondering this. Dogs clearly aren't electronical so how do you think 3arc will go about this?

 

On a side note: I'm just happy that dogs are returning. They were my favorite killstreak in Black Ops and I'd even name them when I was using them in game.

"Get 'em Rocko, GET 'EM!" Haha.

 

But yeah, what do you think? Will EMP affect dogs or no?

    Unless Treyarch are planning a cyborg K9 unit... Probably not.

    You probably wont be able to call them in but i doubt they will just drop dead when a emp hits although it would be funny!!

      Emagine how much PETA would flip out if the EMP could just all of a sudden kill dogs. You should check out what they said about World at War.

    K9 Unit is not electronic devices. EMP is only for electronic devices, so no.

    Of course not.

     

    The best thing about dogs is that they are dogs, you can't hide from them, you can't cheat them and they're loyal. What the hell would they care about a power spike?

    give them shockcollers that will override killing the dog when EMP goes off.

     

    other than that im one of the guys that want dogs nerfed for being OP in BO. they have alot of advantigaes other killstreaks dont have.

     

    like gunship was only=to dogs when 1. everyone was stupid enough to run around outside and 2. nobody tried to shoot it down. otherwise dogs were down right better.

      Actually dogs were balanced in Black Ops. In World at War they took 2 hits to kill and they came in an unlimited number (within a limited time of course). In Black Ops 2 they were a 1 one hit kill but came with only eight dogs. I'd rather have them like in World at War.

          Because you can't shoot down dogs with two missiles, or make the gunship move in through buildings. Dogs have no type of tactical counter except for what you're equipped with. They're also fast moving objects with small hit boxes, making them incredibly hard to hit, but not impossible.

          Dogs got 4.25 average kills on BO. Gunship was dependent on skill but averaged around 5.7.

           

          This is the advantage of Player Card (the stats). Even Chopper Gunner was around 4.3.

           

          Also, the research pool was out of over 1000 packs of dogs and across 10 people using Gunship - over 1500 call ins.

           

          The advantage of dogs is the combined effect and additional kills a team gets why the dogs are out.

      the dogs will self destruct as the chips in their heads controlling them will fry.

    I'm just glad dogs are coming back.  The main ks I used outside of blackbird.
