Wow... this just seems so far out there that either you are a bit deluded or are just trolling us. Campers are generally the worst players in the game.  They have to hide in a corner and shoot people in the back because they can't win a 1v1 gunfight.  There are some campers who have that style of play perfected and can get some half decent scores out of a game, and I'm sure there are those who could do well in a more run n gun style, but would rather camp. For  the most part they are just bad players and easily dealt with.

Saying rushers are bad is ludicrus... some are, of course, but a good rusher is a far more valuable asset to a team than a good camper.

[ you answered that for yourself so, you call yourself ridiculous? lol ]

Camping is in no way an essential part of CoD..
[ oh but it is if they want me to buy it and I don't even camp but have no problem with "campers" because I don't whine when I get killed by one because I just go back throw all my non letals, tacticals or place a claymore over there and then let them come out and get killed by it or I just go in and get them it's just not that difficult.]

. it's always going to be around, but if it were to vanish overnight then the game would still carry on and not be adversely affected in any way. Moving around the map is what is actually essential because it is the sole reason that the game progresses.  If nobody moved around the map then the game would end scoreless as everyone sat in a corner and waited for someone to walk past, but who's going to walk past if nobody is moving?
[That has not happened yet in any full or even any game I have played where no body has got  a kill so not a problem]

I personally dislike camping.  [good for you]

I don't enjoy playing games where there are a lot of campers because they are usally dull and boring matches
[why is it because you have to think and it's to hard for yeah?]

, and I don't enjoy having them on my team because they generally do little or nothing to help out.
[so your telling me if the so called camper gets killed it doesn't ring a bell when you notice there name in the lower part of your screen to go over to that area and theres an enemy there?]

However, if someone wants to camp and that's how they like to play then fair enough, they can play how they want. [exactly how it should be]

MW3 is not the worst CoD.... that would be CoD 3 btw

Everybody has ther own playstyle why get rid of one thats been around?

No, to most it was CoD3. Those that aren't noobs to the franchise anyway. MW3 beats out Black Ops on PS3.

I completely understand the "attack" on camping. sitting silently and waiting for somebody to walk by then shooting them is cheap as hell. But as far as attacking it by map design it kinda gets sad because it does take away a lot of great sniping spots. I recently started playing COD4 and was blown away by all the great sniping levels. MW3 and Black disapointed me with the lack of good vantage points. eradicating campers by way of perks and attachtments is a much better way to tackle the problem. A great example is the heartbeat sensor so you can see where they are hiding the hardened perk to shoot that coward through he wall is hiding by etc etc.

    Funny....

Campers have skill? So staying in a secluded place waiting for someone to pass by to shoot is skill? I think you're just mad that you can't camp. Don't know where you're getting MW3 having no campers, just look at the Assassin, Blind Eye, and Dead Silence combo

Who in their right mind would use dead silence to hide in a corner? Do you even play COD? You do realize that dead silence is for run n gun right? Well, it was until IW gave campers the ultimate campers tool in COD history. Sit Rep Pro.

Sniping is just camping from a long distance.

    Camping does take skill.

Only reason people and TA are against it, because they can't learn how to flush out a good camper and because it ruin their running and gunning.

TA ruin the game, with the maps designs.

Sitting in a corner of a room behind a claymore hardscoping the door does not take much skill. However there are people that actually move around slowly and tactically checking corners watching the mini map and I don't consider that camping but they get called it quit a bit because it appears they are not moving a lot of the time.  This thread is funny. The topic has been driven into the ground. I do sort of feel like the way ghost is set up may make sniping a *****.

im gonna stick my neck out here and say no camping is not for skillfull players, players who know how to defend an objective is skillfull, people who sit in corners waiting for people to run past is a B*tch way to play the game and involves no skill whatsoever, my nan could sit in a corner and earn multipale point streaks and she doesnt even know what cod is :-/ if you wanna show skill then defend an area or attack an area not camp round a corner or on a roof waiting for people to run past unsuspectingly.

What planet are you living on? Campers are bad players. They sit there already aiming down their sights because their fat sausage fingers can't react to quickdraw in the battlefield.... I reckon Black Ops 1, although having more camping spots, had less campers than MW3 and BO2. May just be me, but there is some SERIOUS camping going on in BO2 at the moment. It's getting frustrating. The maps, although open haven't killed campers at all. Campers are a disease and, like disease they will find somewhere to go. Which seems to be everywhere at the moment in this latest edition of the Call Of Duty series... Which is absolutely terrible and a waste of money I reckon. But I'll save that rant for another discussion thread.
