Correction: Winter Camo was released for everyone who became an ELITE Founder. An easy ticket was to purchase the hardened edition, but others were able to register the first day to become founders.
I have to be honest, I have winter camo unlocked BUT I only bought Elite in the begining of 2012. I thought it was unlocked as a 'gift' because people were complaining about the lag so much later on because when I set up my Elite, I never had winter camo as an option. It's really not that big a deal. I would much rather have the 'Marine' camo but I have no idea if that's available on PS3. Just thought I would jump in with my thoughts.
