Playing TDM style in DOM, and insulting me for your loss!

You say you're 'good' and that I'm 'garbage' but you lost.
You say your team got more points than ours combined....but you lost.
You say you'd rather be good than lucky....but you lost.
You say "so what I've thousands of wins so this loss doesn't bother me"; but it must or else why say those things.
You had a party of 4 plus 2 randoms (all with mics) against our random six with one mic and you still lost!
You my friend are wrong about a lot things but you were right about one thing: We were lucky....that you played you TDM instead of DOM.
I
People always are sore after losing. Its refreshing every once in a while when the other team just says, "Hey, Good Game, you guys destroyed us that time."
It happens few and far between, unfortunately.
last time i had a message saying good game was back in cod4 playing ffa me and this other lad were always fighting for the top spot miles ahead of everyone else
Sportsmanship is lost on most of this community. I think part of it is just that there are so many crazy things that happen in this game that it just angers and frustrates many people, I know it does that to me. I have really done my best to keep my cool and just not say anything if I am mad.
I do try to wish the other team good luck every round, and good game afterwards, its just sometimes hard, especially on games where I just can't seem to do anything right.
Yep, sportmanship is severely lacking in the COD community right now. What's screwy about those guys I played is that they could've won easily if they'd only played more to the objectives instead trying to rack up kills. I'm starting to see why people play without mics...
The thing that pisses me off the most is saying great game you guys just ended our 30 game winstreak, well played then having some clown on the other team be an arse about it with cheap comments
Seen that as well. I just try to be the bigger person.
The thing that gets me the most is when I have a teammate ragging on me in game.
Played a match last week, right off this one guy started complaining about someone stepping in front of him. Then he started barking things at people.. like "Dude the guy is right in front of you!" or "Dude, get out my way!" or "Dude, shoot that guy!". Useless, since nobody knew who he was talking to. He then went on to rant about how he hates playing with "Randoms", then started on me, because I was having a bad match (Got a kill at the start of the match, then took a bad string of deaths on Bootleg. Spawn killed several times in a row( partly because this guy was running around without regard for his team, causing us to spawn on the other team). He began telling me how I was "garbage". Kind of lost all motivation to want to win for that guy after that.
People just feel like they have to flap their gums in game... I just try my best to stay calm and be the bigger person. Usually they end up making themselves just sound stupid.
I have experienced this type of behaviour quite a bit over the last few days. People yelling at me for being "in their way" or to kill the guy that is "right in front of me". Reminds me of why I usually do not play with a mic. People never have anything intelligent or constructive to say...
Yep. And it's usually the guy that keeps going 5 - 18 that's telling the top player on the team to get out of the way.
The beauty of a headset is you can just turn down the mic volume & not hear them at all. Generally I just turn it up if I'm trying to get a feel for how other players are feeling about some new change to the game.
I love these guys. i try not to talk to much unless it is to my teammates, but when these idiots start up for some reason i feel the need to bring them down a peg or ten. Most usually set themselves up for a good comeback. My personal favorite is the guy who has a decent kdr but is outscored by his own teammate who has 10-15 fewer kills but actually played the objective.
My kd is not great, but I'm more interested in playing the objective and I don't care if I die, I'd rather know I played the game properly and got the win or at least tried to get the win ![]()
A few weeks ago there was a guy - on my team - ragging on me not for my game play, but for my user name. He and his buddy thought it was so funny that my user name is a car (a kick-ass one at that!), and obviously had no idea what it was.
After a whole - and I do mean whole - game of listening to him, we were paired again the next game. Once the game started I announced to my team that I was sorry, but due to that user being such an arse, I was going to try to go 0-30 on purpose. I did my best. Rushed right at them every time. I called out every death, sometimes following it with "...brought to you by xxxxxxxxxxx."
I went like 6-19. Forgot I had dead man's hand on. Accidentally killed a few of my enemies. Oh well.
Next game starts, and he's on my team again. Again I apologize to the team. After a few deaths he left the game and I started playing. ![]()
Mute button.
Nah, the kids don't learn anything if you just mute them. ![]()

^^^this
W/L is not important to some people, its completely meaningless when playing lonewolf. I just lost a HCKC game, my entire team went negative by a lot, I went 31-7, didn't even care about losing the game.
I hate people who camp objectives. They cant kill it in TDM so they haft to camp on objective to get a kill
Saying good game or even messaging someone like that more often makes you look like a loser to the people for saying it.
Thats one of the reasons I think people dont say it.
The only way to fix dom and CTF and other obj games modes is the score board it should only show how many flags you capped/defended for me that iks the only route to save these game modes try and push the players who deer stalker "sit in corners waiting for player to run at the objective" its the most simple fix i can think of you will still have the hardcore cretins who do it to annoy people i just dont understand why players do this is there prize money at stake NO it public matchmaking does anybody care about your stats NO i just dont get what happened to this community thats why i used to love playing PC many years ago where idiots would get banned from the server
i had a match like that in in COD4. some idiot was just camping the whole time in an objective match (i think it was DOM), at the end of the match i said "nice camping, too bad you lost". then the kid came back and said "no i didnt, cuz i got more kills than you so i won". i was just like, what the hell? i told the kid it wasnt TDM so the kills dont mean a thing, its the score. he said he didnt care.
i dont see the logic in their thinking.
