Bonus Clan XP? Clan Challenges? Where did this 2000XP come from? (ELITE 360)

As the leader of a 76-member ELITE 360 clan, I pride myself on keeping on top of all my clan's stats and performances. I noticed last night while in game that my clan was a level higher than it should be, and when I got on ELITE last night, I realized that we had gotten 2000 XP between Monday and yesterday. All of our clan ops golds had posted by Monday, and there's nothing we were due for XP. I've been thinking that maybe they had opened parts of Clan Challenges, but I can't find anywhere where that info has been posted. Not only that, but I cannot even get into the Connect section of ELITE to check today. Anyone else notice this?

Maybe to promote every clan, to unlock the emblems.... Some kind of cheap easy fix for them....

Same. My clan randomly went from level 28 to level 29. Not complaining, but just wondering why?

They should do the same for PS3 clans or else this isn't fair.

Can anyone on ELITE 360 actually get into the Connect section? I've been trying all morning and been getting the "Not Found" page. (On a side note, why have they not put "Beachhead has f-ed things up again 99%"?) If someone can actually get in there and look, that might help answer what's going on.

i think it is because some people didn't got there exp for some clan ops and thats's why i think they gave everyone some bonus exp for the people how didn't got there exp for a clan op

My clans on 360 we didn't get the 2000xp your speaking of. Then again my elite clan sucks. We have 26 members and sometimes I'm the only player who takes part in clan ops.

I think some people are in clans just to say "Yeah I'm in a clan"!

My clan got the XP bonus as well. We were level 27 and now we are level 29. I'm not complaining about it, I would just like to know why we got it. I am also on 360, too.

We got 2000xp as well. 360. Methinks its (as stated above) to promote the newly declassified emblems as rank unlocks.

  The emblems are working fine, if you reach the level you get the emblem. They will release a TU shortly.

      (sigh). You will get an emblem unlocked at 44, the griffin emblem. You did not get the Keegan emblem unlocked at 42 because you probably were at 42 when they declassified the emblems. With a TU (that could come as soon as tomorrow, according to a hint given to me by a chat support rep) you will receive all the declassified emblems you deserve according to your clan rank. At this point the only way to unlock the emblems is to literally get to the unlock level, anything you would have unlocked will become available with a TU.

        E-sigh. Really? FYI... if they NEED a TU... then the emblems AREN'T working fine. Just sayin'. And what does that have to do with a 2000 XP bonus anyway? If that were the case, then wouldn't they have given said bonus to everyone? We're going to get the emblems eventually (I can wait... they're emblems, for God's sake. Not like they're going to allow us to use our clan emblems or something cool), but emblems being the reason for the added 2000 XP is silly. The whole point of my question was to find out WHY we got 2000 XP (for those who did). Emblems ain't it.

    They only released the emblems to a small subset of people. If you are not in that subset of people, it doesn't matter if you hit a level you would unlock one of these emblems, you won't get it until the full fix is released.

Appears my clan also got the XP. I was also able to click on the conncect tab and it loaded up fine. I don't see anything out of the ordinary on it though.

  Well, then that appears to spike the wheel on my clan challenges theory (unless they were intending all along to open them and say nothing... which wouldn't surprise me, honestly). I still can't get the Connect to work at all today.

This is news to me, my clan received nothing...A strange one.

As for the connect part of Elite, it's being working fine for me.

I hate handouts. We earn what we get. I'd love to hear why we got an extra 2000 XP. But apparently no one at Beachhead gives two cents about us. You know, their paying customers. Wait... their PAID customers.

Im not sure, and my dates may be off, but I believe xbox clans were given whatever experience they were entitled too(1000 for gold) and i believe experience was given to all clans that participated in the even to compensate for the face that one of the ops was not able to be played because of server issues with xbox live. During the op, xbox servers were having issues and prevented people from being able to stay connected. My clan for instance, got the 500 we were entitled to for silver, plus an additional 1000, and we, as a clan only got ~68 confirms(it was kill confirmed).
