Will we see Kill Confirmed return in BO2?

I would really like to see it back, was a lot of fun and gave the regular TDM a little twist with picking enemies/friendly dog tags. There are some things to be changed like picking your own tags gives you 250 XP. But I would REALLY like to see it back and I believe a lot of other players too since it is on the Top 5 played game modes in MW3.

    Enh. I don't care for it. Just a CQB fest. Lots of akimbo. Just my experience. I would perfer something a little more "objective".

      Yes KC will be in BO2 along with Drop Zone. Infected and Team Defender will not be. Black Op2 will also follow Mw3's system but with a bigger focus on "objectives".Hope this helped.

    I read that they were going to bring in drop zone but leave out KC but its just a rumore. I wouldn't mind KC and Drop Zone both making a returne in BO2 because BO will have a better experience with KC than MW3 had because they said they are making bigger maps with more open area instead of alot of allyways and buildings to camp in, thus improving the spawns.

    I would be suprised if they don't bring it back in BO2 considering it is a popular game mode but I would change how the gamemode works. (This is if Treyarch implements a similar pointstreak system to MW3)

     

    - You earn a pointstreak once you or a teammate collect the dog tag rather than earning a pointstreak before you or a teammate collect the tag.

     

    This should encourage players to collect dogtags than to be rewarded whilst ignoring the dog tag in front of them just to earn MOABs or 100+ Kill Confirmed games.

    Kill confirmed was alright.  It really depends on how many people play it compared to all the other modes in deciding if it will be one that will make it or not and if treyarch even wants it in there game. 

    I don't know if many of you have played waw, but they really need to bring back the WAR game mode.

    I don't know, its upto IW and Treyarch if they want to share modes, I would of liked to have seen War in MW2 but it never happened

      I like your confidence, but the fact they are Infinityward gamemodes means they have to give permission for them to be shared, its stupid but its fact

        There's nothing stopping Activision from simply ordering IW to share assets, as they ultimately have control over both studios.

            If it works, it works - no reason to leave something out unless there are mitigating circumstances. The dynamics of Kill Confirmed may be changed by Treyarch's new killstreak/perk mechanics, I guess we'll have to wait and see.

    Probably kill confirmed might be back if the creators won't find a new game mode to earn more XP points. It's time to move in to other game modes. You think they stuck with the same old things? Well, The TDM and domination(The Core Stuff) will be back no matter what. Drop zone will be returning and a new game mode called "Escort"

    I can find rumours by googling this (they state that KC and Drop Zone will return), but do we already have a confirmation regardin the return of KC ? I will be pissed off if it doesn't return, MW3 is a poor excuse of a game and i would not like to go back to it due a game mode that i absolutely love.

      It would be better if they only let you secure the kill if you grab a tag you killed for. Or 1/2 for getting someone else's tag.

        I think this is not necessary due to the new scorestreak system, if you or someone does not pickup the tags you would need something like 8 kills to get an UAV. I think the scorestreaks promote to faster paced games and less camping already, and it would slow the pace down if each tag is not of similar worth in points. Picking up your own tags maybe needs a change though, for this scorestreak system it gives too much xp if it's directly adapted from MW3.

    Could someone how has a Twitter account please ask Vahn about Kill Confirmed ? He just mentioned on the live stream that he will be answering questions all night (I don't actually know if you need an account because Twitter is not really used by anyone where i live, so sorry if i'm asking for something that i could do by myself).

    I'd like to see it returned but I hope Treyarch has a way to eliminate the boosting in it.

     

    Not much of an enjoyment having a team mate(s) spawning in on tactical insertions just collecting their own dog tags for tons of experience and not bothering to actually play to win.

    i cant see it returning myself not with multi team tdm but if it does i hope they make a few changes like reducing the points for collecting your own tags and maybes collecting so many tags add towards your next steak
