terraforming maps

Posted by jonthebeserker on Jul 16, 2012 5:14 AM

obviously a bit late for the starting maps, but as a suggestion to DLC I would like to see terraforming maps. Here are a few suggestions (some from others on this forum. Apologies for the lack of kudos to whoever came up with any specific idea). A map that changes shape will add to the confusion and mayhem without drastically changing the formula. I would just like to list the ones I have seen and if anyone has any suggestions feel free to post.

1) a boat that is sinking - The lower decks fill up with water, and you can pay for a bilge pump activation that clears down the water. Maybe the pap or jugger could be down in the lower levels of the boat. After ssay 5 minutes,, the water fills back up again. Maybe you could introduce some sort of swimming ability perk or whatever?

2) if you have seen AVP the movie the pyramid rotates causing new areas to open up and some to close or become severely restricted with regard to space to manoeuvre.

3) travelators (like in airports). Pay 2000 or whatever to change the direction. Allow owners of staminup to run (quite slowly but get there in the end) in the opposite direction. No staminup = running on the spot

4) 5k to use a portal gun setting up a unique escape route

5) lever that flips gravity

anyone else got any ideas?

A sinking ship, with water levels rising, yeah, that'd be nice.

AVP-styled pyramids that rotate and revolve rooms every dozen-minutes? Don't think the current-gen consoles would be able to do that, too many resources required.

Portal gun? Lol, bit if an Intellectual Property infringement.

Gravity switches? This all really depends on how far-fetched Treyarch's zombie department wants to get with their maps, settings and designs.

Because seperate parts of the map actually move and rotate, rather than the players being teleported to a darker skin of the map.
