Do you get xp if it says the host has left the game?

I was playing domination, and my team was doing great, but then it disconnected back to the lobby. It said "the host has left the game." Why wasn't there a Victory or Defeat like usual when the host ends the game? Also do I still get the xp?
Yes, you still get your in-game XP.
The only way for it not to register, is to turn off/reset your wii during a game.
You get the XP you earned in game but no match bonus.
I have no idea why it fluctuates like that. Sometimes I'll get "Host Ended Game", sometimes "The host has left the game", and sometimes "Lost connection to host". I think the latter two happen when the host turns off his/her Wii and the connection is totally lost.
And yes, I think you keep your XP.
Actually, you don't have to reset your Wii, or remove the disc. In fact, you don't even have to exit the client. Joining an ally's game will also cause the same thing. Either way, anything accomplished in that game by the non-leaving player remains. If the leaving player joins and ally, they will keep whatever they did in that game, but if they power off, they will lose it all.
