Hey guys. Just wanted to let you know that im one more person this is happening to. At the end of every MW3 game it will show the scores and my ps3 will freeze. Its not having any trouble reading this disk or any other. Ive tried both black ops and MW2 and they work just fine. And yes im sure its not good for our ps3s to have to be restarted like this all the time. If something happends to mine because of this im going to be pissed. Mine is a 160gb slim by the way and its only about a year old. Also i disabled theatre mode and the facebook thing. no luck. I just installed the new update for MW3 which is version 1.17. My PS3 is also the updated to version 4.21.

When this happens on mine, it's always the same maps. I can go into certain ones and they work fine. Spec Ops works ok too. FRUSTRATING!!!  Starting to really piss me off that they aren't finding a fix. Why can't they fix this?

I have these exact problems too. HARD FREEZE!! Annoying. Need help. I believe it started when i downloaded the map packs. It was working fine before (yes just got map packs). It only happens for MW3 multiplayer. No other game. Makes me not want to risk Black Ops II.. Someone please help!

Hi everyone...

Today this freeze thing happend to me aswell. After a whole year of MW3 gaming!!!  I have the first generation ps3, with ps2 games capability.

Now that I have read throu all 8 pages of complaints of trial and error I am no wiser.

My game freezes at scoreboard after every match (6 times by now). Also i got error codes: 800010514(if i try to enter game straight after restart)and some other code I only saw ones. To temporarly fix the 800010514 code I let the ps3 cool down.

I am thinking that it has something to with overheating or that my ps3 is getting old from everyday wear since 2007. But it is wiered that new consoles have same problem.

And just now I tried to play spec ops befor MP, as getKILLD suggested but froze when I choosed a map in spec ops.

And when I eject the disc after freezing(no hard restarts) it does not recognice my game disc(no disc icon in XMB).

I apologize 4 my questionable spelling and messy reply, but I have to consumeed alot of beer to see if that helps(it doesnt).
