I don't think weapon dlc would work, cause for one, you could be paying money for the guns and in the end you hate them. There is also the fact that if you want to play with a friend that doesn't have them, it would create so many issues.
Those issues are-1. When playing with a friend, they can't just stop the guns from being involved, otherwise you would be left without a gun on some classes.
2. If they didn't block the guns, then there would be no point to charge money for them since anyone can just come along and pick it up.
The only way weapon dlc would work is if 1. They make it a manditory free dlc so everyone would have to get the new guns saved, or 2. They make it so you can't pick up any enemy guns, which is just plain stupid.
I'm not saying that weapon dlc is a bad idea, but there is so much involved with it that it can create a lot of problems if you don't do it right.
