They played the game, you haven't. My friends played the game. You haven't. You just "know a guy." Okay. I think I'll go with the opinions of those who have played the game. It's obvious you have some sort of problem with the big YouTube guys. Weird, but from you, expected. Hutch and Nanners aren't even all that relevant in the CoD universe anymore, FYI.
Sorry, but your posts reads, "Hey, I don't care if they played the game...I don't like them, so I'm going to trust someone else!" Odd.

The fact that I like them or not is irrelevant, when I said I "know a guy" it's not like I'm hearing it second or third hand. I talked to him myself, I value his opinion more than someone that I don't know and he said he plays like a cross between MM2 and Black Ops, it's as simple as that.
The fact that the youtube people contradict that is why the power of opinions is so vast and not a science, people see things differently. Back to the point of the thread, I don't think you can possibly "prepare" for a game that is must different than the game you are using to "prepare" for it.
The intent of this thread wasn't to bash youtube entities, but more to discuss that preparation for a game that hasn't been played in it's complete form is ridiculous, at best.
Again, the person that played the game himself and told me himself that MW3 in the version that he played played like a cross between MW2 and Black ops holds more weight than Youtube Fodder.
Simple as that...
Enjoy

flame flame flame. Opinions are opinions, and the mass majority say it does not play like black ops

who is flaming? This is a discussion, are you having trouble distinguishing the difference?
If you have not heard that, fine, don't contradict what I've heard, that's called being a hypocrite.
Are we clear?

Never said I've played the game...
... have I seen numerous videos? Yes.
... do I have 1000 of hours playing COD under my belt? Yes.
... do I trust my ability to combine the above to form an educated opinion? Yes.
I don't just "know a guy" and I don't need to vet his credentials to know I value his judgement and opinion far more than Youtube commentator who think QS is a good thing.

Thx for this. I played blops to death and started mw2 on multi yesterday. Could I trouble you to give me 1 or 2 areas where mw3 differs dramatically from mw2. Thx in advance. gallp13
No lightweight is huge. Everyone moves at the same pace. Also Extreme Conditioning not being as dominate as it once was. Tons of options for your loadouts. Maps are bulit for lots of engagements. Games will not be dull. Controller sensitivity and player movement is nearly identical to MW2. And weapon damage is slightly higher than black ops. Players seemed to get dropped pretty quick.

I have over 30 days played on Black Ops, WaW, MW2, and COD4. That's 30days in each. As far as controller sensitivity and player movement it is nearly identical to MW2. Weapon feel is also similar to MW2. With a bit more recoil. Hit detection felt good. But LAN is obviously different from online. Map layout on the maps I played offered quite a bit of action. Def felt like a cross between the last four COD titles. That is only 4 of the 16 maps in the game though.
Forget the prep videos. But yes I believe playing MW2 will prepare you for the game more than Black Ops will. But like someone said before. There are gonna be some new perk combos and you always gotta learn the flow of new maps. I can't wait to get my feet wet.

Agreed, I just hope the player movement is more fluid as it was in Black Ops. Obviously the connection issues that everyone references is something I hope that doesn't carry over, but I will be interested to see how the perk combo's, the strike packages and how the guns "feel" because that was mentioned more than anything in the preview videos.
I never said getting ready for MW3 was a bad thing, I just think if people think that they know what they have in store, I think they will be either disappointed, or blown away.

Well im obviosly going to play the campaign to refresh my memory of what excatly happened but their really is no way you could "prepare" for MW3 by playing MW2 or MW.
