Persongal Statement: BF3's beta rejuvinated my FPS skills. Why? Different playstyle makes you more aware.

COD gives me critical target acquisition and engagement experience.

BF gives me tactical awareness and emphasizes squad flanking tactics.

You all need to SHUT THE @#$% UP about this. This debate is dumber than Artemis Fowl fanfiction. Which is pretty damn stupid if you know what I'm talking about. (if you don't know, keep it that way, unless you're a troll)

Why?

-The games aren't even out yet, so how can you judge?

-You might as well debate Halo vs. COD because both of the franchises have nothing in common besides being FPS games that take place in modern times

-Even if you do play them if you're a ninja or you went to CODXP & played the beta, you're both playing an extremley glitchy game that isn't the final game, and you're in the "video game honeymoon" phase

-The average COD fanboy just b*tches about the game and moans for nerfs. The average BF fanboy spends his days bashing threads on this forum and videos on youtube. Both of the fanboys are equally stupid

-If you love your franchise so much, why not go play it instead of debating a retarded topic?

This debate will never end. Idiots are basing BF3 off of the beta and think this is the final product.

The other side has morons thinking CoD is worse because of less authentic content or just the way it plays. Killstreaks, deathstreaks, certain attachments, etc. that holds more impact on games than the player's skill I can agree on, but nonsensical shenanigans are nothing to argue over.

I am personally not that excited for MW3 because of what has been shown and what it contains, but throwing out flawed statements and bias crap is a fail on your part. Especially when you have no idea what you are talking about.

I played the Old PS2 COD games, then rejoined the series when MW2 came out only to skip out on B-ops (bad move bc the hackers pretty much dominated MW2 online afterwards). I also do have expirience in BF 1942, but never progressed into the modern series's. There was some things about the gameplay in the BF3 beta that I enjoyed. it did take a lot more teamwork and it was cool to be able to pick which teammates you spawned with. Not to mention the destructable environments made for a very chaotic environment when you were in combat. I do think that they could have done the weapons a little differently. I like to be consistent with my weapons and use the same one every time, and I loved the ones that were brought to bear by the americans, but I couldnt use the AK47 or 74 to save my life. and the gameplay was much slower paced when you werent in combat, you had to make a long run just to get back into the combat area if you couldnt respawn on your teammates. CoD didnt have that problem for me. After bieng used to the controls of the COD series i found it hard to get adjusted to the new controls.

all in all BF3 beta was good but my money is still going towards MW3. if I had money and time to play both I would probably get both, but my choice just by past expirience is MW3.

Why is it BF3 against MW3? They're both good games in my eyes. Honestly I think BF3 will do better in sales than MW3. They are two totally different games with different styles. I'm not a fan of BF3. I think it is a good game in its own respect, but I just don't like the feel and style of it. BF3 fans will probably say I have no skill and I'm a noob, but the fact of the matter is the playing style of BF3 doesn't appeal to me. We could all debate all day and night which game is better, but it's more about what playing style and community you like better. The one thing I don't understand is all the die hard BF3 fans getting on here and bashing MW3. They're like a bunch of christians trying to convert Muslims. Just leave us alone and let us play the games we want.

Here's what i'm doing about this debate.

I played the bf3 beta, didn't really like it oh well. When it comes out i will rent it and give it a go once again. I play Cod cuz it's fun getting in a match and just kill everyone! Watch the online gamer series from reckless tortuga and have a good laugh.
