If you think the AK is bad then you obviously aren't very good with it.

I'm going to chime in with this; I think its fine how it is, but if they buffed it(in a very small way) I wouldn't oppose it.

I use it in Hardcore and it's great! I can see why people would think that it's a weak weapon when playing core though, it takes so many rounds to put someone down...Maybe you just need to play with the right setup? I use mine with the Kick Proficiency, but if you like using other Proficiencies, you can easily avoid the bad recoil by burst firing. Try it out

I tried to really like it for a little while with my "Ruski" class of Ak-47 and RPG.  I was going all Red Dawn on people.

It's.... okay.  An acquired taste.  Really kinda crappy without red-dot/Kick.  Silencer seems to have less effect on it (from a taming the bounce perspective) than it does other ARs (yeah, I'm looking at you, ACR).

I might mess around with it again in the future, but having too much fun right now making QSers (and snipers in general) rage with my Type 95.

That gun is so devsatating in mid/long range encounters.  Close in... okay if 1v1 and maybe 2 on 1 if you are ADS... but I can't hip fire that thing to save my life.

Any map with size.. and even some tighter ones if you play it smart... the Type can really put a beatin on peeps.

I agree, its not bad, but its kind of outclassed. The scar-l is basically an ak-47 with a faster rtf and lower recoil. I think the ak47 should be a 2-hit kill up close, and retain a 3-hit kill at longer ranges.

Are you really struggling with the AK-47?

the ak47 is my favorite gun. try using it with kick and a silencer, it works perfect for me

the ak is a very good weapon , aim for the trunk and it chatters upward sometimes giving you the headshot , i control it over distance by just burst fire .

Yeahhhh, mine works just fine with Kick and X Mags...

I think in my hands the AK-47 is overpowered. I'm 19th prestiege and I have a gold AK-47 title and over 12,000 kills with it. I haven't used it since 15th prestiege. Even when I pick up the gun in a match, I still do as good with it. I use suppressor and extended mags because I can handle the recoil. I honestly don't recommend any type of optics on the weapon. The best sight I would choose would be the red dot sight. The gun just has too much recoil even with kick to use optics. Back on topic, I wouldn't care if there was a buff to it. The thing I worry about is the safety of world from me if they do buff it. LOL

I've never had any problems with the ak, and besides its always good to have a few guns that are harder to use.  They can make the game much more challenging/rewarding.
