360 getting dlc first

Posted by y2k95 on Jun 25, 2012 12:28 AM

activision made a contract with microsoft saying the 360 gets all the dlc 1 month earlier in advanced and it expires whit mw3 last collection. But when i went to e3 they said the black ops 2 would dlc would come out to the 360 first i dont know if its a month again but i am tired of all the 360 people telling me how fun the dlc is and should have gotten the 360 instead of a ps3. i am $@ckin& pissed off the 360 gets the dlc earlier when your contract expired like bungie did with halo 4 so thats why they are making a game for all platforms.

Why would you care what 360 people say about DLC. Unless you are 360 user and can't afford DLC. If you are on PS3, you'll get it when its due.

Please - this talk has been done to death. It was done to death for the last 2 years and then when (some) people found out over the last few months that it would be in place again for Black Ops 2, it has been done to death again.

The worst thing is not that we have this scenario, but that people can't get the information and then deal with it.

I'm a huge PS fan (PS, PS2 and for the last 5+ years PS3). I want good games and a good choice of games, I want to have fun on my console. I'm hoping the connectivity issues are massively improved for Black Ops 2 because it has the potential to be a great game and I want those "happy fun clan and friends days" of hours online back.

I don't care when the game or its DLC comes and I care less for people moaning about this issue - and it is such an irrelevant backwards issue anyway, we don't play "against" any other console users' profiles anyway.

I think what you are missing is the fact ps3 players pay the same price as xbox users and its already been out 2 months before they get it.Also all the easter eggs have been found so when i play a game all i can hear is 12 year old kids going on about ohh you heard about the easter egg on.....You have this and this.

So by time i get the game i know everything about the dlc before i have played it and all the mystery has gone thats why i hate the contract and time length and why many other ps3 users do to.

So what's new??  I actually heard they were going to try and make it 2-3 months between the console drops...

I don't mind though, gives them a chance to work out all the kinks before it gets released to us.  Just look at the failBOX forums sometimes when they get their DLC's.  A whole bunch of whinny babies.

Look, the fact of the matter is that Xbox players pay a subscription to get such exclusives, Microsoft do it with many games. PS3 doesn't have such a subscription so naturally they won't get exclusives, they get MP for free however so in my eyes it evens out.

So what if you get it later? It's not like anyone else on your system will get it earlier, just another system will, which doesn't affect you AT ALL.

You don't see PC players whining about getting DLC late.

So you guys might as well stop it.

You see what the reasoning is... Some kids are spilling the beans about what they found out and it ruins my fun... Why listen?

Microsoft has a policy, all content must come to their Platform first, else it is Blacklisted from them.

I wonder, just maybe, they forgot to add PS4 into the contract. So when the PS4 comes out people can get the DLC on that the same time as the Xbox 360

I know that what i'll be doing this year. Whether on Xbox or PS3. If they are going do drops like MW3. We can expect the same mess.

Bungie? Lol HALO is owned by Microsoft and will continue to stay on XBOX.

But I see what you're saying about Bungie's new title "Tiger Project" it will be for all platforms.

It's a simple matter of economics.  Microhack has more money 'due to monthly installments from all the xbox fanboys.  Ergo they have more money to spend.  Why wouldn't activision take their money for something as simple as this.  Oh, and I would like to point out that since they get it first they get the BUGGY BETA version of the map pack.  By the time we get it its already fixed.

They don't fix everything.  Remember the rock you could hide in on mw2's fuel map.  There was also a tanker truck on some other map you could hide in.
