What can you say to this?

There is no magic pill; and actually no "bunny hopping" (hasn't been in COD since COD 1.3)

Some people will say always aim center mass; that way you have the same distance between prone, and jump.

I say always aim for the head; I know this game keeps getting easier and easier for the noobs; but I always have, and always will, AIM (unless startled) and no matter how bad they stretch the hit boxes aim will beat hip fire almost every time. (and yes I realize there are hax...er...um...perks to help the noob who can't/ wont aim; it's just not my style)

Learn to MOVE while engaged in battle: (evasive maneuvers) it's not like the movies; where every one is ducking in and out of cover (people are all over the map (looking for you) your keyboard should be as busy (if not busier) that you mouse. strafe left and right, jump for cover, hit the ground etc... (there is no shame in that. (I don't care what ANYONE has to say about it) what ever you have to do. (I knew a guy once who caused rage, by "leaning" Back and forth during battles)

And be aware of your surroundings: are you running in tunnel vision mode? or are you constantly checking your six? My rule of thumb is to drive my avatar, like I drive my car, I watch my rearview mirror as much as the front.

Are you listening? can you not hear the game? if you K/D is only .3 i think you have more to consider then Jump shooters.

Either way: You'll HAVE to learn to play (or rage quit); no amount of whining about it will change the way people play (and before any one goes there, no I am not a jump shooter; but I will if I have to)

like I said at the beginning: there is no magic pill; and not to sound harsh; but you will just have to L2P.

Keep at it: it feels good to aim at a jump shooter's head, kill them in mid air, and type "jump over that"

No disrespect to my buddy Poison, he is a wise man. But hip fire is legit out to 50 feet or so. Here are some numbers. Let's use the P90 since you have that already.

Use a sub machine gun, like the P90. Hip fire it. The first shot is usually near the center. You can start hip fire and while you are moving to aim down site if necessary. Out past 50-60 feet, the hop makes no difference anyway.

Your reaction time is .16 to .2 seconds.

The time to kill for the P90 is .14 seconds.

BUT, the time it takes to raise your weapon is .8 seconds.

That "raise time" alone means you could be dead twice by the time you raise your weapon.

So... with a hip fire kill, with a SMG (sub machine gun) at best is about .3 seconds, but with aim down site it's more like 1.1 seconds, without Quick Draw. That means you can generally kill 3 times, almost 4 times, as fast with a hip fire at best, within it's usable distance, which is about the kill range of a good shotgun, that will get it done with one shot. It's all in the numbers.

I should have said to use a sub machine gun to begin with. You run faster and they raise faster. Add rapid fire to that and you can kill quicker, but your gun will have a little more recoil, which works against you at a distance. And of course you can increase the hip fire pattern with Steady Aim.

Also learning the maps and hot spots helps.

Oh, I would add that the assault rifles have a crappy hip fire pattern, avoid assault rifles.

BTW, if that is a n00b technique, then I am a n00b, but a damn wise one, with an excellent win/loss record

PS, if your K/D is bothering you, forget about K/D.

I don't care about K/D. I'll die 100 times if it will secure the win. Dying is free:) My K/D is a little over 1 to 1 because I throw myself on the objective, and we don't play TDM or Kill Confirmed usually, in fact that's boring to me

Pay attention, i shall say this only once....

anti bunny tactic..... if an opponent you know is a hopper, dont aim for mid body, you will only shoot thru his legs, aim above him, he will hop up into your hail of fire  and die before he gets a round off.  end of lesson
