Well, I took about a month break from even entering these forums. I've come back to find the same old forums I left. Not that that's a bad thing.
So last night I logged onto Black Ops. Around 42,000 people online. Then, I went onto MW3. Somewhere in the range of 8,000. Translation, Black Ops is way better. MW3 has been hacked to hell and is no longer fun to play (not that it really ever was).
That's all I got for now!

I'm not sure how you came to your conclussion that BO was better. When I did play BO there were never more than 15,000 online at any one time. I think that the numbers that you posted reflect how many people are on the COD servers in all games including BO, MWR, WaW, and possibly even MW3. That is my personal opinion. That being said I still prefer MW3 to BO, this is a personal preference as is your opinion that BO is a much better game.
I fully agree with you. I can't even download the patch for Black Ops but I still think it's an amazing game.
this^
I think both games are great in their own ways. I know that I've mentioned this before, but since I keep seeing posts about how BO is so much better than MW3, I suppose it's time for it again. Here are a few things that I have perceived as of late.
Every new game that comes out on the Wii, the previous game is "better" and is less hacked and is ___ better/cooler/less hacked/etc. than the current game. So, according to most posts I have seen, here is what we left with: MW3 < BO < MWR < WaW.
I completely disagree with that; in fact, I would reverse such an assessment. WaW Multiplayer was extremely truncated. Fewer players, poorer graphics, fewer mp maps, maps that were either too big or too small, etc. I enjoyed it, but clearly it was lacking.
MWR came out, and it was a much better iteration on the Wii. Of course, MWR had extra development time for the Wii. But hacking exists, and it is just as bad now (or worse) than when it was first being hacked. Oh, and lag shooting stinks.
BO came out, and everything was better. Of course, I was using a usb-to-lan adapter, so even though I hosted a lot, the framerate was much better. Lag compensation was much more effective. More tactical gameplay due to the size of and multiple levels in the maps. Chokeholds existed. Of course, there are the hacks.
MW3 came out, and though there were a few steps back - loss of the stats and extra game modes from BO - the graphics are better, the maps are as good (just different; they are more run'n'gun), and KC is great. Of course, there are the hacks and FMG9s.
My four cents.
MW3 is fun to play, but it got ruined with the billions of exploits, hacks, glitches, etc etc.
And black ops had the dolphin dive.
That was worth playing the game alone. I love pretending to be a dolphin ![]()
Dolphins are boss ![]()
God i still hate the dolphin dive.
MW3 got ruined for me when the lag shooting patch came out in November.
Whatever Treyarch did with the patch, it screwed up the game immensely for me. Most matches are completely unplayable for me. It's no fun when people can see me on their screen before I can see them on mine....
Number counts doesn't make a game better.
Shut up dude.. This WAS the funnest game i have ever played..
BO is less stressful than MW3 imo.
^^
I hate BO with a passion the game types & gameplay are boring, CoD points annoyed the **** out of me & the graphics are just god awful. There is only 3 things that game did right Zombies, Combat training, & theater Mode(WTF MW3 fix that ****) imo
Wrong forums bud.
IMO Bo is less stressful and the gameplay for me is simple and fun
mw3 stresses me out to much
