I was wondering does infection count toward your stats like k/d, kills, deaths, etc. because I really don't want to mess up my stats playing infection

infection use to be really fun without throwing knifes but its ruined now cause of the gay cross map and long distance throwing knifes im pretty sure i speak for majority for this
