    its very unpredictable just remove the stupid compensation.

    It's great that IW is finally trying to work out the matchmaking and compensation issues. I do have a question though.................WHY DID YOU CHARGE YOUR CUSTOMER'S $60-$100 DOLLARS TO BETA TEST YOUR MATCHMAKING AND LAG COMP CHANGES FOR 7 MONTHS??????!!!!!!!  Do you realize what this does for customer loyalty? Do you even care that you have lost the trust of 20 million customers? Do you realize what you have done to your brand?

    It sounds stupid and it is!

    people with slow connections can always upgrade to a higher speed!

    If u can buy the game i think u can afford a descent internet connection.

    Or dedicated servers.

     

    some times i can almost empty an acr ext mag without a kill and getting killed in 1 or 2 shots

    And almost never games with 50ms ping on my pc i never play games above 30ms lol

    Adding 2 pellets might help the reliability some.  Although the one extra pellet on the ksg only marginally improves its point blank reliability so I am not sure what 2 would do.  I can tell you from lots of testing and research that 80-90% of those bad hitmarkers seem to land 2 pellets worth of damage.  That is one of the reasons we have been asking for a 2 pellet kill.  I have a 41-0 spas moab where the connections were flawless (everyone was 4 barring) and I still got a terrible hitmarker from 15 ft. with specialist bonus.  Even if the connections significantly improve we will still get these hitmarkers. 

     

    The thing about adding pellets is that you can't just add pellets to the 1887 and keep it balanced at range.  With 2 more pellets the 1887 might become too strong at range.  That is why we are suggesting just a close range damage increase.  It cures the reliability problem for the most part and I can prove that buffing the 1887 to 40-20 damage stock does not increase its reliable one shot kill range at all.  We get our reliability and no one gets killed from any further than they currently do.

     

    Movement speed is fine on shotguns.  With 100% mobility and excon you have a significant mobility advantage over the competition in most cases.  I would have liked infinite sprint in mw3 but whatever.  The maps are small enough to where you can get most places with a good mp9+excon sprint anyway.

    I'm telling you, changing damage/pellet counts is not the way to go with shotguns. If they make it so the spread actually tightens to a noticeable degree while ADS, all the shotgun issues would disappear, bar lag or bad aim(of which bad aim is a player fault, not a game fault). No other weapon class has guns that shoot bullets in random directions when ADS. The bullet will always go where the weapon is currently pointed. If they start increasing damage willy nilly, shotguns will turn into monstrous, instakill weapons that wouldn't require any aiming and would completely ruin CQC in this game. I'm for a shotgun buff, but not one that involves damage. I would actually prefer that intitial damage decreases if the shotguns were buffed in this way. Players would be rewarding for ADS and hipfiring from 20/30 feet would not work nearly as well, which is how it should have been all along. It would also help the developers in appeasing both sides of the coin(regrettably, there are players who still see shotguns as noob weapons, no matter how badly they perform, all the while those players spray assault rifles from across the map with near perfect accuracy). Its laughable, but the developers try to appeal to everyone.

    Just got into a French lobby playing by myself (central Ohio) in kill confirmed on Xbox.  This game never fails to fail...lol.

    On PS3 I just got put into a lobby with all Germans or Austrians....I know it is late at night but don't tell me that is the best match you can give an East Coast US player.

     

    PS Over the weekend I have been getting host a lot more than I have the past 2 weeks. Whats up with that?

    I've given up on KC I liked it, but it seems like there aren't enough playing it to get the matchmaking quality right. I am practically always geting ripped off with double kills being an instant denial of one and at the other end of the scale entire multikills denied by the compensated one.
