Relatively skilled player + bit of good luck = minimum to get MOAB

All score in all games regardless of trying or screwing around = K/d

Therefore K/d is not an indicator of what someone could acheive unless they try hard ALL the time. Therefore it's a useless stat when attempting to ascertain the chances of a player getting a long killstreak.

There is a currently no stat in CoD which accurately tells you how good a player is

Had 1.8 k/d on xbox 10th prestige lvl 80 back in January, finally got my moab.

I have had quite a few MOABs only playing TDM and my KD is 2.52 with over 100k kills.

With that said in TDM it almost takes a perfect storm for one to be fired off.

You have to be somewhat decent and lucky at the same time.

Obviously the team your playing has to be less skilled but the same needs to be for your team as well. You cant have several really good players on your team or you simply wont have enough time to reach 25 kills.

I have a feeling some wont like what I say but I dont count moabs when hardline was used. It's just my opinion but that's how I feel about it. I've never actually gone for a moab but I've been close at a rushing 23 killstreak. My teammates get them every now and then so I don't really care about it myself.

Infected has kind of ruined who has and hasn't gotten a MOAB because I've seen 0.6 KDs with MOABs from infected.

The lowest KD on my freinds list with a non infected MOAB is 0.92 and I've seen a few 3+ KDs that don't have MOABs when I check the lobby leader board

Even if there was an attempt at a numerical measure (KD) to answer your question, it wouldnt really tell you much.

The KD stat is highly influenced by so many other things, other then a players skill. It appears you are attempting to find out if you're good enough or not to get one yet (I'd guess you're a relatively new/weak player that has steadily improving for some time?)

The thing is, this stat is so unreliable at measuring skill/ability, that its fairly pointless to use this as your measuring stick.

The best way for anyone to measure their progress in this regard is simply to keep trying (prefarably with the specialist package) and to keep trying to beat your highest streak.

Although TDM generally has weaker players then objective game modes, the mechanics of it (ie the 75 kill limit) in turn makes it harder. Therfore, the players most likely to accomplish a MOAB in TDM (regular anyway) are those that are more "hardened" in objective modes who "go back" to TDM. They'll generally, more likely have the ability to get the MOAB in the style that is virtually almost required to get one in TDM (ie, rushing) but have easier opponents to do it against.
