Pretty sure I already know the answer to this...

But I have to ask anyhow.
My PS3 went to the console maker in the sky last week and turned itself into a rather ugly paper weight.
I have 2 Xbox 360s so instead of replacing my PS3 I am going to buy MW3 for that instead.
My question is since I bought the Hardened Edition of MW3 on the PS3 at launch is there any way to transfer my Elite account to the Xbox?
I pretty much know the answer and hate the thought of having to buy the map packs for the Xbox seperately or the thought of just buying Elite all over again but it still beats buying a new PS3.
Any help here would be appreciated.
Ouch. Sorry for your loss. But even if you don't have to pay for ELITE for your 360, be prepared to step up to the Majors in gameplay.
Yeah I am looking forward to playing with the Xbox crowd.
Hope everyone takes it easy on me ![]()
Lol. PS3 players are the same as xbox players.......are xbox players genetically grown test tube gamers?!?! The only difference is the controller and DLC drop times.
Except one of my clan member's k/d is ridiculously higher on PS3 than Xbox. (.65 Xbox... 1.57 PS3.) Granted, three-quarters of his time has been Xbox.
From what I've read on Activision's twitter page, you can't transfer an elite membership from PS3 to XBOX.
phxs72 is right, you wont be able to transfer from PS3 to 360, im not even sure they let you transfer between gamertags on the same system!
no but others can still play the content as long as it is the first console downloaded on.
Thanks for the replies all, I already knew the answer but just had to ask.
Hate to buy Elite again with BO2 a few months away, guess I will just get some of the map packs to hold me over until Nov.
Again thanks all.
or you could just buy elite at the end of the content seadon then you will get bth the dlc for mw3 and bo 2 if its included next year. (it proboably will.)
