When I use that gun it gives me horrible lag compensations. I'll aim right on someone for multiple shots and miss all of them.

honestly stay away from that gun. I got bad experience with the lag comp like as soon the frame rate drops down you know that you will die and the shotgun shells will be neglected.

First of all I would recommend not using it and go for the USAS instead. But it you must use it, ALWAYS use steady aim. Your spread while hipfiring will be tighter with steady aim then the spread you get when ADS. So never ADS any of the shotguns. For your setup use focus up until you get range and damage. None of the attachments besides Emags are useful. The specialist package is the recommended killstreak as you get range once getting the specialist bonus. And just be prepared for hitmarkers until you get damage. Guess thats all to say about it.

if you really want to use this shotty, i would recommend specialist package with stalker pro as your 1st perk as after the first hit marker you will have to strafe like a madman to get the kill.

well it depends on ur play style. if ur gonna run in peoples faces i suggest using sleight quickdraw and steady aim(secondary mp421 akimbo). if ur gonna flank mabye extreme assaisin and steady aim(hip firinging and aiming after running quickly is required) and some handgun akimbo . if u can get damage and extanded mags on it then u dont have to use sleight of hand at all.

Run this:
KSG
Range and or Damage (range its better, this gun has already enough power to kill anyone)
with grip and/or extended mags
Scavenger PRO
Assassin PRO (this is optional, i use it with this, i dont want to be discovered(? by enemy lpayers with theyr UAVs
Steady aim Pro (helps alot)
and alot of good aiming without ADS.

Attachments: you don't really need a specific attachment, choose anything you like.
Proficiency: Damage or Range, preferably Damage so you're less likely to get hitmarkers.
1st perk: Extreme Conditioning. You need to able to close the gap between you and the enemy as fast as possible, and you don't really need Sleight of Hand because you have a 12 round mag and don't need to reload that often.
2nd perk: Blast Shield or Assassin. BS (Pro) helps you survive and close the gap easier while Ass allows you to sneak up and flank the enemy.
3rd perk: Steady Aim. SA is necessary for shotguns and the pro version works well with Ext Con. DON'T ADS, you'll just get more hitmarkers.
Use the Specialist package as your killstreak, you'll get a nice speed boost when you get the specialist bonus. Very useful since you'll be running around a lot with Ext. Con and SA Pro. And you'll need all the perks you can get when using a shotgun.

My favourite Shotgun in the game.
I use:
Range
Attachments: Red Dot Sight (pretty pointless, but still better than the Iron Sights),
and Extended Mag (also pretty pointless, but it's a Shotgun, so...)
Recon: (for those moments when you DO NOT 1ShotKill for some reason, and the opponent gets aways around a pile of boxes etc...)
Hardline (Support Streaks): You will earn a lot of assists when firing at ppl from a distance, and yr teamates will finish them off for you.
You'll have a Stealth Bomber in no time.
Steady Aim: (For when running and Hip Firing.)
Support Streaks: Advanced UAV, Stealth Bomber, Escort Airdrop.
Deadly: Frag Grenade: (I just perfer them over Semtexes.)
Tactical: Cuncussion Grenades: (Turns them into sitting ducks)

Ksg Red dot range works the best for me, but there are some special tips i have, and i will share them finally.
Dead silence gives a little bit extra range when using damage on it, i suggest that, quickdraw is useful, why? Well it you can kind of quickscope with this weapon, it gives mre accuracy since it counts for aiming, but you can actually see it better thanks to the hip fire looks.
Steady with damage and grip is a good combination to, you only miss the dead silence extra range, but you can hip fire it all, so no need for quickdraw ( assasin is useful )
Silencer actually is really good, it works well with damage and dead silence, again, quickdraw is good for the quickscope trick.
Extended mags is not really needed, if you like the normal sights, go with grip, this shotty already has a big enough magazine before you reload.
Sleight of hand is really useful, and specialist scav as first one.

The Model, aaah you never know when you kill with one shot or two..... it sux in my eyes, but i dont like it, the ksg is faster in firerate and in more 1 shot kills from close, yea the model has more range, but those always give hitmarkers......

true it is inconsistent but its the best shotgun, very similar to the Olympia minus the only two shots since it was a double barrel....I gotta make a blops Combat Training run now

Just a few tips.
DO NOT USE GRIP
DO NOT USE KICK
Damage works really well, and it can make up for range.
Extended Mag is probebly the most useful attachment
Hip fire works REALLY well, if you can get used to it you can get really good.
Steady aim works well.

Question about the "Dead silence extra range" :
Does it actually improve the range, or does it only help you closing the gap between you and your opponent in a stealthy way, thus sort of "boosting your range" in a tactical way?
I agree with VAMP;
Grip is 100% pointless with the KSG.

When i tested this with some other people i know, it showed that it improved the range, with around 3 steps, it doesnt sound that much, but it really does show, use that quickdraw to optimize it.

Any with lots of corners....er all of them if you know all the routes or take control of an area with a buddy and/or Port Radar
All the small maps are really great though, and some medium sized maps like Seatown (northern quadrants) are great and Mission (the Middle of the map and along the slope), and outpost in the "Sniper locations"

Here's what I have to say to that idea...
ACR Hybrid Sight focus as primary, AA12 Damage Ext Mags overkilled as the second primary.
Get in a pinch point, pull out the AA12, and just tear it up close range. Use the holographic on the ACR for medium range, and the high-power on the hybrid for long range.

I use ksg as my primary shotgun, although it is getting obsolite just like the AA12 because of how badly they need to nerf the OP SMG's. Everybody anymore uses pp90 on the shotgun maps (arkaden, dome, hardhat) and it's getting very antiquated.
I use KSG with Ext Mags, hipfire it so you don't need to worry about the irons except at a longer range, range or damage, (damage for regular, range for HC... range in hardcore makes it borderline OP) with specialist to get the proper perks...
With Ext mag, you won't need the full magazine, but I prefer it being that you have just 1 or 2 rounds too few shots in the regular, and with ext mags, you can shoot about 6 shots before having to worry about reloading, and if you get snuck up on in the middle of it, you still have about 4-5 in the hold to panic shoot.
I don't rememeber what my perks are on it offhand, but I know I have hardline pro and needed to put SOH Pro on for the MP412 Akimbo that I use on it too, and use scav at 1 kill. Then I have assasin at 5, and I forget what I have at 3.
Best thing to say is keep it around for if it's usefull to use because of people who aren't pp90whores and mp7/p90 morons and actually like playing with good guns. Otherwise, use PM9 and MP9 Akimbo.

Here are some classes you might want to try out:
1. KILL WHORE CLASS
KSG damage ext mags-this increases the chance of OSK and gives ammo
magnum no attachments-if you get a hit marker, switch immediatly, can use and other pistol, but dont use tac knife or dual wield because it makes it switch slower
semtex- for long range
concussions-they throw faster than flashes, you get two, and they are useful for invading buildings
sleight of hand- reload faster and switch weapons faster, also, no need for scavenger, you have enough ammo with ext mags
quickdraw-ADS faster to shoot ealier (every second counts with pump action guns) and toss equipment faster (u dont wanna get caught in the middle of tossing a concussion or semtex)
steady aim-increased hip fire when you dont have time to scope in, and ADS faster after sprinting (remember, every second counts)
Deathstreak-juiced (least nooby)
killstreaks-depends on how comfortable you are with the class. if you like it, go for the osprey or the juggernaut. if you dont, go for the predator or use support.
TIP: choose one area of the map, preferably the center, and destroy your enemies at close range. try to avoid long range fire fights.
2. MOAB CLASS
KSG-12 Damage ext mags-this increases the chance of OSK and gives ammo
skorpion silencer-great at close range and is reliable for a quick kill
semtex- for long range
concussions-they throw faster than flashes, you get two, and they are useful for invading buildings
scavenger-so u start with a bunch of ammo so you'll have emough for the MOAB
quickdraw-ADS faster to shoot ealier (every second counts with pump action guns) and toss equipment faster (u dont wanna get caught in the middle of tossing a concussion or semtex)
steady aim-increased hip fire when you dont have time to scope in, and ADS faster after sprinting (remember, every second counts)
deathstreak-juiced (least nooby)
KILLSTREAKS-SPECIALIST (specialist is good for getting moabs because you will get extra perks and proficiencies)
2 kills: Sleight of Hand- you want to get this as fast as possible so you can switch weapons and reload faster
4 kills: Assassin-get this to avoid annoying emp's, uav's, thermal, and marksman
6 kills: Hardline-this last perk doesn't really matter, but you wanna get that specialist as soon as possible! (also, you can get helpful assists-counts-as-kills)
TIP: This will get you ur moab. just play safe and stick to the outskirts of the map. after you kill a few people, move on to a different section of the map. if u are playing domination, stay away from the B-flag, if you are playing capture the flag, stay away from their flag, etc... STAY ALERT! PEOPLE ARE EVERYWHERE!
3. JUST-FOR-FUN CLASS
KSG-12 damage and grip-this increases the chance of OSK, better for steady aim
g18 akimbo-spray through your opponents
c4-blow up multiple enemies upon detonation
flashbang-blind your enemies and take advantage of their confusion
scavenger-more ammo, more pain, more fun
hardline-get your killstreaks quick, you wont be alive for long......
steady aim- better hip fire for g18's and ksg
deathsreak- dead man's hand, you'll be dying alot, so u can just rush in and blow 'em up
killstreaks: 2 kills-uav 4 kills- predator missile 5 kills- precision airstarike
use the uav with the airstrike to take out waves of ur enemies
use the predator missile to target a few people
TIP: throw a flash, rush in to a hallway, and spray with ur guns. also, strategically throw your c4 to kill multiple enemies. this class is designed for complete destruction, or complete failure. rush into the center of maps or buildings and take out everyone who is inside. play with friends and run in packs to destrot the other team
