The lure of Call of Duty is that it offers a myriad of game types for all players. I personally am enjoying the Face Off mode, and I am usually a team player. No, I don't boost. No I don't cheat. But yes, I do enjoy the challenge of the one on one scenario as a pleasant change from other modes. If you don't like it, you don't have to play it.

I have a perfect gametype for this guy since he wants realism. You spend weeks on a base, take an occasional patrol, maybe spend days or hours guarding a weapons cache. Everytime you get a kill you have to file paperwork about the engagement.  The games could last years... you could even have locals there who despise you!  That would be wicked.

Meh face off is just like TDM just with less people. I really don't see the point why IW put it in. All it really does is just split up the lobbies more.
