Three words, World at War. W@W is a much worse game, it was a bunch of confused people in a room not knowing what they wanted. Plus it has terrible hit detection on top of all the other stupid, stupid things it has and doesn't have. That game is a train wreck.
MW2 has it's problems yes, but if you where to fix the lag soooo many of them go away leaving a game that brought us some great weapons and perks as well as some cool killstreaks and the specialist package (one of the greatest things to develop in COD). Most of the maps are terrible, but, they told you before this MW even came out they where going to be that way in an effort to help new players. I totally 100% dissagree with the map design and philosophy behind the MW3 maps, and it only leads to more camping and a worse spawn system anyways. These things being said, still some alright ones in there.
Then all we're really left with are some unbalanced weapons, but every COD has those. I think they go out of their way to put them in, there is no explanation other than that for how consistently it happens, and how despite releasing countless patches and being the easiest things to change, they never do.
I won't sit here and say that they didn't **** up as the money grabbing, wallet raping whores they are... because they f*cked up. But good to bad ratio wise thise game beats the sh*t out of W@W with a pillow case filled with bars of soap and sock filled with AA batteries.
