Carbon.. worst ever bro... sucks
I detest Lockdown. I hate it even worse than Downturn. I don't know why, but on Lockdown I ALWAYS do bad. Plus everyone camps in that one room.
ARKADEN
YEAH
intercharge. That map is just as bad as it can be.
I hate fallen..
Blah.
Bakaara is super annoying for me.
all maps are awesome.
except arkaden.
that map sucks more than an industrial sized shop vac.
oh arkaden. It's so bad I forgot it was even in the game.
officilly changing my answer to this
Downturn period.
oh god, I just like pretty much all the answers. I pretty much hate all maps...
I think I only semi-like Mission, resistance, and bootleg. Thats only if I can get into a good lobby with decent players who give me a challenge or at least attempt to give me a challenge. As in they go out trying to pick a fight with me instead of acting like noobs
Yeah i hate ressistance
Why does everyone hate downturn? I LOVE that map. Wish it got picked more. I also love carbon. Ninja Pro and hunting footsteps. Love doing that on both those maps.
If anything I hate Dome but probably just because it is played SOOOO much. FMG9's can really ruin a match on that map too and that happens a lot. Not a huge fan of mission. It's always a camp fest.
Okay, village, why?
well if you look at the word village you see that the wii actually is getting trolled by treyarch.
village
^ ^
the word lag.
what if the word vilge was called wii? then it would say wiilag.
I like all maps except village, silentshot got it spot on. In fact, I have only played village once and everytime i connect, i leave.
The map is not bad don't get me wrong; but the frame rate is TERRIBLE. My Wii works so hard I'm scared to even play the map
Thats pretty clever silent
I'd have to say Arkaden; Some killstreaks are virtually useless in that map. I kinda dont like Bootleg either, but then again thats where i got my first MOAB. lol.
true the killstreaks in arkaden arent that good : /
dome, arkaden and village. people usually all seem to use the same kinds of weapons on those maps when I play, usually smgs w/ rapid fire or semi-auto sniper rifles
lol, dome is made for that
Downturn and lockdown. I've learned to like bootleg and arkaden.
The only one I don't like is Arkaden. And that's only because I don't do well on it. (I noticed that this is the reason for most people's dislikes of one or more maps.) I have tried camping, run-n-gun, stealth, brashness, and more styles and unless I go against a pretty bad team or I am with at least another strong ally, I end up negative. (I wonder how much of that is due to hacking, though. I have never seen so much warping in MW3 as I have seen on that map.)
On the other hand, I really like the overall designs of just about all the maps. These maps really are different from previous CoD maps, which means a gamer's play style has to change to compensate. As others have mentioned before, BO had more tactical, methodical gameplay (that's not to say you still couldn't run-n-gun). Most MW3 maps make it more difficult for that kind of play, although I submit the following in support of tactical play in MW3:
-Recon Pro is awesome if you play as a team. A medium-to-long range tag can help SMG users put the enemy down. RP (enemies are tagged for 6 or 12 seconds) can make your team seem like it has inifinite UAV when it doesn't.
-Portable Radar is awesome if you play as a team. Multiple PRs spread out across an area of a map can make it seem like your team has infinite UAV when it doesn't.
-UAV-only streaks are great if you play as a team. This isn't infinite UAV, but if you have a teammate who has hardline as a second tier perk, the UAVs come in every two kills.
-Aligning perks across team/clan members works very well. One person can do recon, another can shoot from medium/long range, another be a tank, etc.
With these tools and play styles, MW3 can become a very fun, tactically based game. If enemies figure out your tactics (someone is running assassin, dead silence, or sitrep), then you have to change styles to adjust.
My biggest issue with the ACTUAL game (not hacking) - and it always has been - is the lag. First, I was going to throw the game in the garbage just before lag shooting became lag compensation. That made it better. But it's so dang frustrating to play a match and go 25-3-6 and then the next match go 4-5-15 because the first game, people just stood there (I know they really weren't; it was LC), and the second game, I was instakilled with heatseeking laser bullets (that's LC, too). BO had this right; MW3 still hasn't found a happy medium. What's worse is that if I try to "fix" this by using a LAN adapter to connect, the LC gets worse. I get killed out of nowhere from people I can't see from around corners they haven't even come CLOSE to passing yet (on my Wii, at least).

Whoa...wall of text.
You have some interesting points. But, id have to say that when i had Beast Ops (it got scratched
) its gameplay is more-or-less the same as MW3's. Its the same run 'n gun action. I mean, MW3 is as tactical/methodical as a newborn baby, but thats the entire series, not just MW3.
Bakaara u cant see any one thats camping
Got my first MOAB there ![]()
All of them. Everytime I put the MW3 disc in my Wii, I feel like I should be playing Beast Ops instead.
Downturn, Downturn, DOWNTURN YOU SON OF A B*TCH!
^******* love dat
Lockdown. Lockdown. LOCKDOWN YOU SON OF A B*TCH MAP F*CK YOU EERRGH!!!
That's for me.
Hands down, The map Village. Eveysingle time I get on that map, there has to be lag.
