How to change Aim Assist setting for MW3 on PS3 multiplayer?

yesterday, i was looking into OPTIONS to change settings of Aim Assist and couldn't find it. As best I remember, i have changed the settings before for Aim Assist.

Kindly advice.

Pretty sure you can only turn aim assist off on campaign/offline

And it is always on online, guessing because of lags and so on

Like the others said, you can't turn it off or on during online play.

Are you sure you can not turn it off cos I was in co op mode an had turned it off, an then later on I was in a mp match it felt like it was off, I could be wrong but it sure feels different when I play now.

In multiplayer it's not possible...
It's just another mistake like many other in this game.

I'm tired of when aiming to an enemy, someone runs in front of him and the aim tracks the running player. In this case, can't kill any of them and get killed...
When there's a group of 3/4 players together it's the same... Can't strafe and shoot as it should be...

Being mostly a pc player, i can tell the huge difference of the Aim-Assist...
Sometimes we can even know when there's a player behind a corner because we can feel the Aim starting to move...

  Thats ΔΔ happened to me, and it is really hard to unstick it off the player that just ran across your line of sight for that millisecond and get the quick fix back on your original target

  I know what your talking about I use to play on pc an aim assist does greatly F you up, when strafing (spray in pray) is the only option when coming across multiple ppl.
  
  Aim assist should be set off on mp regardless of your skill.
