I wish I had a recorder so I could make a montage of all the times I involuntarily swing my knife at enemies who I am trying to aim and shoot at. Most often it happens with the Model 1887 and its completely rediculous. I dont press the knife button. Im attempting to make shots but instead my avatar is doing the melee attack. Why would I ADS on a target and then press melee instead of fire? Thats rediculous! It happens the most during the close range encounters, hence the 1887 when Im at close range I ADS to shoot because thats what my gun is for, the game seems to think that since Im close I just want to knife everyone. Ive tested out my melee button and it does not appear to be sensitive in any way. When I actually want to knife someone I must fully engage the button just like any other button, however in these instances where Im trying to shoot an enemy but my knife swings out instead (100%resulting in death) its  not like Im accidentally pressing the button. Ive been acustomed to the analog PS controllers for twelve years, I know how to use them.

To fix this issue the melee function should be disabled while in ADS. Who would ever want to melee while they're attempting to shoot someone anyways?
