      Gotcha. I'm on PS3 so I don't know what's in the DLC for sure until later. You got my hopes up. Ive been waiting for weapon DLC since CoD4. Oh well.

    Exactly what Cowboy said, everybody complains it's the same old guns everybody uses, this is an excuse to change things up and use the other guns on offer, take a risk you might find a better gun

      I was not complaining. I just took you're post as a something that it wasn't. Anything new in the game perks my ears up since I have wasted 12 days of my life playing this game and I am not affraid to run underpowered set ups! That's all.

        I wasn't saying you were complaining, just seen lots of threads about everybody sticking with selected guns and they always moan about them being too easy to use or OP, hopefully this will get people to try different weapons

        Not sure as I'm not playing at the moment, should tell you on multiplayer menu like it does with double xp, just keep an eye on how quick you level a new weapon up to see if it's working

        Seems to be working I guess. I never really pay attention to how fast they level up. But just started the MP5 and went from level 1-8 in two matches. And they really werent impressive numbers I made.

Just my luck getting the pistols and MP to level 10 for 10,000+ xp each is now easier :D we will meet again prestige mode button.

  I might try getting some of the double pistols akimbo'd. I never use them and refuse to waste a token on double xp for weapons. Anyone know which are the best akimbo'd pistols?

    They are all decent really. Havnt took the time to rank them up in awhile but I would go with the Magnum or Deagle.

    Dunno, but in real life the 5.7 is a ridculously awesome handgun!
    
    I could shoot the eye out of a fly at 30 feet with one....
    
    I was thinking about running it as a secondary just 'cause... but then I saw the love the MP9 was getting on that other thread...

    Can't say which are the best for sure but my personal bests are the USPs and Five Sevens for rapid reloads and mele speeds, so if you are in a "busy" game they are great...

    The Magnums for sheer grunt, but you'll want SOH with them for sure...

i just got off a little chat session with the support guys with activision and they said that we are, in fact, getting double weapon xp through monday and that it will not show up on barracks. they did tell me that we are most definitely getting double weapon xp.
