My 8 year old and all his little underage friends are totally obsessed with modded lobbies and they always ask my son to join modded lobbys. I tell him hes not allowed but I feel bad cause he wants to play with his friends and I tell him no. For some reason these young kids are obsessed with modded lobbies, glitches and quickscoping. I mean its all they do. Their is a total sub culture of kids 12 and under that go into private lobbies and do nothing but do glitches they find on the internet and mod their lobbies.
I don't think they'll get banned since it's in a private lobby not a public match. As long as they don't get bored one day and decide that they'll do it in a public lobby then there should be no problem.
So teach him why its cheating, and that these kids arent cool, they are just wannabees. Teach him the value of honor. They say you cant change a kids personality by the age of 8. This might be your last chance.
They really dont use it to cheat, they just play in private lobbys. They dont even play the game or kill eachother. He just wants to play with his friends but doesnt most of the time cause they want to do glitches and mod their private lobbies. I feel bad because literally all his little friends do it and its all they do. He wouldnt go into a public match and do it if I tell him not to. Are we good if he plays with his friends only in these private lobbies?
tahts what I was thinking, if its a private lobby it doesnt matter. Would like to know for sure tho lol.
Get all of them to play WaW or CoD4. No one cares there.
Or MW2 I guess.
Noone is going to prison for it. But its the point of what you're teaching him that I think matters. next year he'll be token glitching BOPS2 and making Qsing montages, and boosting with tacs. Then he robs a gas station and youre going "where did I go wrong" sitting in a police booth on 48hrs. Ok JK. But remember its ok to set boundaries for your kids, they need them.
LMAO!!!!!! Out everything mentioned above he would be in the most trouble for making a QSing montage.
Lulz.
That post reminds me of the Direct TV commercials...
"when you go blow off steam, accidents happen. When accidents happen, you get an eye patch. When you get an eye patch, people think your tough. When people think your tough, they want to see how tough..... " lulz.
Wait... I think an eyepatch should be some sort of glitch/mod/easter egg. You get one, you are instanly 20% tougher.
Theres a fine line
