Combining all of the guns regardless of how expensive it would be would be like having a freaking nuke gun, but much better! I don't care how expensive it is once you have it you would be unkillable.
The thinng with FUSION is that you really have to keep the possible combinations at a sensible number, and I regarded the ballistic knife a great excuse for a bayonet so thats what I did. I didn't want FUSION guns to be another level of "wonder weapons" so while get a power boost they aren't as flashy as the wonder guns they are a practical use a lot gun.
So as for this combination, well your ideas are as good as mine! but I think people would want flying blades of some kind lol.
Interestoingly it seems Treyarch have used the "Cherry Popper" from the document, read the description on page 6: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VarcFns7SCY
"Description: The Cherry popper is a large sniper rifle taking the form of a rail gun. The gun is fitted with an x-ray or FLIR scope that is capable of looking through any and multiple walls for a target which it displays on a LCD screen at the back of the scope, not unlike a camcorder viewfinder. The rifles stock loops over the shoulder to help steady its heavy weight. While ADS a charge bar appears so that once the capacitors are fully charged the rail gun is capable of very powerful purely kinetic shots that will pierce multiple walls and kill instantly the target."
And then hear the description of the sniper rifle Mark Lamia gives here at 3:50: http://www.ausgamers.com/videos/view.php/65755
Hes completely wrong when he starts talking about "metal storm" thats not how it works at all, but is summary the new gun is a sniper rifle fitted with a "x ray" scope using electical firing which uses a charge time before the shot. I'll take that as another hit ![]()
The document already predicted the Cure gun (VR11)(Pg.10),
"Description: The antitoxin gun is a break action air rifle firing a dart which must be individually cocked and loaded each shot. On firing the dart flies rapidly but visibly to the target which causes the zombie to collapse to the ground while the cure takes its effect, the cured zombie then awakens looking more normal and regains conscious thought. The cured zombie then attempts to escape the horde whereby you can escort them giving them passage to a safe door whereby you are awarded bonus $, or instead let the horde attack and eat the victim buying you time as their attention is diverted."
Shrink ray (Pg.12)
"Description: The G16-GL35 is now fitted with a shrink ray as an underbarrel attachment; this can project onto zombies who after a while shrink down to half size, half the speed, higher pitched voices and moansand have half the health of normal zombies. The shrink ray has very limited ammunition that is used and reloaded like the conventional underbarrel flamethrower."
and microwave gun (pg.10).
"Description: The phaser is a constant beam microwave weapon; it emits a faint red beam the width of the gun when the trigger is held that causes the zombie to sizzle and pop, the zombie gives off steam until enough damage has been done before dropping dead." Yeh OK Treyarch made them blow up like balloms and explode but mine was more realistic.
Anyway, by the sound of it, it will be a campain/MP gun in possible addition to zombies so that kinda rules it out as a fusion gun.
i love that idea, but i dount the Wunderwaffe will make a return, richtofen gave it to the celebrities on CoTD. Maybe if a similar weapon was used in BO2.
PS, the wunderwaffe wouldn'tt be a tesla gun. Tesla's use electricity stored in circuits. The ammo the Wunderwaffe uses are called leyden jars (they do exist), they are small glass containers similar to what they look like in the wunderwaffe, and they store a huge amount of STATIC electricty, without loosing it over time as the glass is an electrical insulator. However, to create a burst of lightining that would even kill one person, you'd probably need to use all 3 jars simultaneously in reality to turn the air into plasma so an electrical burst similar to the one shown in game can kill someone. Its kinda a coincidence that the wunderwaffe, the flashiest of the wonder weapons, is actually the most plausible!
Well if celebrities return, which makes sense I think, then we get wunderwaffe back... but another problem is if Treyarch would allow having multiple wonder weapons in a single map like thunder and wunderwaffe... nah, I dont think they would do this unless they accept this idea of Fusion and allow both of them in a some form... I think, if they make a second pap ability, then thunder gun might become a thunder-storm as a second upgraded gun, this is more likely...
Yea, "Tesla gun" is used as somekind of nick name for wunderwaffe, some call it "waffle".
The interview video doesn't work for me, but you were right they just showed gameplay of the xray rail gun at E3. It looked nothing like yours though, and to be honest I thought it looked a bit silly. The "x-ray" scope is a tiny ACOG looking thing with 5 bars of charging ability and it sounds like a pea shooter when it fires :/ with practically no recoil.
Heres the "xray" sniper gameplay:

its using a Milliwave scope, not XRAYs. Milliwaves can see through most things like XRAYs do, they are currently used to replace metal detectors in some airports as they can detect non metallic weapons. The rifle is actual a railgun, a weapon that uses electromagnetic energy to propel a bullet/round at supersonic and sometimes hyper sonic speeds. They do actually exist, but at the moment, they are experimental weapons, and too big to carry. All current railguns have no recoil as its electromagnetic energy that propels forward the object, no gunpowder. They have to charge to as they use electromagnetic energy.
However, the sound effects that cod uses for weapons are appaling, i can make a fart sound more realistic. Try playing games like BF3, and they hit the nail on the head for realism in weapon sound and recoil
I wouldn't look like mine as mine was designed for zombies, I like the way zombie guns look "old school" like something Nikola Tesla would have sitting on his bench so I stuck with that. With that said , yeh I expected the gun to look the part a bit more then it did, the little scope on a lightweight semiauto "battle rifle" doesn't seem plausable to pack that much technology and power, I would have liked both to be more substantial.
More nit picking points;
They mentioned "metal storm" as the inspiration however it was incorrectly described as using electric charge to propel the projectile, this is incorrect. It uses a gunpowder propellant like any other gun, it only uses an electrical primer in place of the percussion primer. The loading and magazine look to be like metal storm's "roman candle" though.
"Milliwave" would mean its "microwave scope", though of course these require an emitter as well as the reciever (scope), so no matter how small you make the tech it will never be a feasable weapon sight, not only would the required power be insane but microwaves aren't coherent enough to give an image over longer distances, it would blur out over a very short distance. This isn't a point I care too much about just a matter of fact.
Railguns have massive recoil, for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.. you can't get away from that. If a gun can punch through metres of concrete its going to punch back equally as hard, well unless it has back blast which this gun does not.
I really hate guns that that charge when you depress the trigger and fire when you release it ***** me in every game thats done it, thats why I said "charge when ADS" in my description. As long as there is no negative effects to having a charged shot I think auto charging while ADS woukd be far better then the hold and release crap every game seems to do, I'm not sure if BO2 is doing this but it does look to be.
I FREAKING LOVE THIS IDEA I DOWNLOADED THE DOCUMENT ON MY COMPUTER
