    A new issue has popped up, I don't know if anyone has mentioned anything about it.

     

    ISSUE:  Hardline not working to reduce # of kills needed for killstreak

     

    CONSOLE:  Xbox 360

     

    GAMETYPE:  Sabotage

     

    MAPS:  Interchange / Dome (could be all, will update once I test a bit more)

     

    I have been noticing that when I equip Hardline (non-pro version) that sometimes it works and other times it does not.  I have a very specific Sabotage class, SOH / HL / Marksman  + C4 + Tac Insert.  This the only class that I use a TI on and the only class I use a particular killstreak set up.

     

    Problem is...if I change this class midway through the round, then change back to it before dying while playing as the "other class", the benefits of HL are not provided when I respawn.  The distinctive killstreak set up is still provided, I just don't earn them with one less kill.  The funny thing is, that when I earn a killstreak with this "broken hardline" class, it still counts towards the HL challenges.

     

    This can be easily duplicated by anyone willing to document it, I do not have the proper recording capabilities to provide the proof needed.

    In mw2 I tried the same thing with one man army.  I had a stopping power lmg linked to a hardline fal class.  I tried to earn 4,6,10 kills with the stopping power lmg then switch to my hardline class and try to get the pred missle, harrier, ac130 on those 4,6,10 killstreaks but it never worked.  I am asuming this is by design.

     

    I have just got a pvr and might be able to help you out later this evening.  I will update you later if I can spare the time.

    Also would like to know. Seven months i have had this game unplayable. Yet i have paid for it.

    A kill is not rigtfully earned if you did not actually kill them completely. Giving the kill to the person that puts them in last stand will make it were people do not even try to finish off last standers if the put them there. They will just move on and continue playing because they know they will get the kill if someone else kills them.

     

    If they make that change they need to reduce in half the time it takes for a person to get back up, so if the person leaves there is a less chance of that person getting a free kills for not finishing off the player.

    Why would people stop shooting someone holding a primary prone? To give the man a free kill? Not everybody on a deathstreak is a bad shooter, some just have a bad streak / spawns.

     

    Ideally just remove / disable it or indeed give the kill to the man who actually killed the guy and make hollow point the 4 death, deathstreak and final stand 5. It’s by far the best 4 death, deathstreak, thus gets overused. Nobody decent would use it as a 5 death, deathstreak and bad players would still get it a lot as their crutch, everybody decent would pick hollow point above it as they would get it a lot more and it’s very handy in a gun fight. Yes, hollow point is annoying too, but I don’t mind it anywhere near as much as people don’t glitch me to death, die just as fast and the player on hollow point still needs to earn his kill with a more powerful gun and he doesn’t kill me after he actually already died.
