I think they are gamebreaking.  If you know how to aim then you can dominate any match with these guns.  Really.  They are so OP that if you are good at aiming then you are going to win every single shootout.  That's a fact.  Their rate of fire, damage, and accuracy combine to make them stupid, just insane, in the hands of someone who can aim with a decent reaction time.  Throw in some lag compensation, and whomever is not using them doesn't stand a chance.  It's not just that they are OP.  They are the most OP weapon in gaming history.  Combine them with some UAV and Rebox hacks and you get some piss ant on youtube going 70-2 with them and bragging about what a beast he is.  So yeah, they are gamebreaking.  Are the hacks more important?  Kinda.  Only the account hopping.  The other other hacks are a part of the reason akimbo sucks so bad and Activision/Treyarch/Nintendo were all fine with those until this account hopping issue popped up.

The point is it was decided MONTHS ago, by the DEVELOPER WHO MADE THE GAME (IW), that akimbo was OP and has been nerfed 3 times so far on the HD consoles.  We got ONE nerf that did nothing.  We are long overdue for another.  

  This thread was for the patch we never got.  One that could have made this game tolerable despite all the hacking.  Instead of being remembered for greatness, this game will be remembered for this stupid design flaw.  And hacking.  I give up.  Finally.  May this thread rest in peace.
