Hello, i'm looking for a headset for gaming call of duty MW3 and MW2 ( preferably a wireless headset) and i have no experience what so ever in which headsets are good and which arn't so i'm asking the people that know this kinda stuff on which i should buy. i have a budget of 120 dollars.
Hi TheNotoriuzz!
I believe, if you have XBox then this is the one for you:
If you have PS3 which is what I think you have then this one is for you:
It costs $130 but worth it! However, if you cannot get that one then this is the one for you:
There!
I have used the DPX21's on both consoles and an X11 on the XBOX
traded the whole thing in on a set of Logitech F540's and LOVE them
just above your price range but worth the exta $, multi inputs (PS3, XBOX, other) and wireless
only issue I have with them is the lack of side tone (your audio fed back into headset to stop you from yelling like a moron when wearing a headset) on XBox. They do have side tone for PS3 so this should not affect you

I say either get the DPX21(it's wired) or the PS3 Sony Headset(wireless). I've used the Turtle Beach DPX21, they are good but you should get a 2-year warranty with them. I had to replace mine twice, and I used them only 3-4 times a month.(I have primarily use ASTRO A40's.)

The DPX21s sound great, but you're right they do break. They have a defect where the ear cups swivel and even if you take good care of them, they break in that spot rather easily.
I recently was looking for a headset and looked into a ton of headsets. I ended up saying screw it and spent a ton on some astro a40's but in your price range, i would check out the tritton ax720's. They got pretty good reviews. The turtle beach's got some reviews about them breaking pretty easily and thats what scared me off.
i have the px5 for the playstation and its rubbish would not recomend to anyone
as that is the top ps3 turtlebeach, i would not go for them at all.
if money is no object it has to be the astros

I have a pair of PX5s and they've worked amazingly for me. (either way, the OP has $120 budget, so it's a moot point for him)
NO TURTLE BEACHES.
In all honesty astros are what you want. But settle for Trittons.
Was tossing up between the Turtle Beach PX5's or the PS3 7.1 Branded ones.I ended up getting the PS3 7.1 wireless headset (soooo much cheaper...) and Im quite impressed with the sound quality, I'd recommend them to anyone! Only issue I do have is that the 4.5hr/5hr battery life can get annoying - tho If they start to run out of battery I just plug a USB charger into my iphone charger and keep playing.
The 7.1 works really good and sounds great for movies also. Also works with PC's/Macs by just plugging in the USB dongle but since not bluetooth, won't connect to phones.
my take - 8.5/10
