Linking youtube to elite problems

To start off i had an old youtube account linked to elite but i never used that account anymore so i unlinked it and now when i try linking my new youtube account elite keeps saying that i need to create a youtube channel....no matter what i do it keeps saying it so at a point i tries it and it just took me straight to my you tube channel but a message poped up saying that username and channel already exists...does anyone know how to fix this...

    Hello Chris95gsr,

     

    I am sorry to hear you are having this problem.

     

    I recommend that you first clear the cache and cookies of your internet browser.  Once the cache is cleared (to remove any potential temporary files that may be causing this issue), please go to elite.callofduty.com/account/settings, and link your YouTube account.  You should no longer receive that "Create YouTube Channel" error message and should be able to link your current account.

     

    If you have any problems beyond this, please let us know so that we can further assist you.

    How many other people are having these issues? Do you know if the issue has been resolved yet?

    is anything being done about  this yet? I have a lot of material i want to put on youtube and this is really annoying me and im sure it is for everyone with this issue...

    I am having this issue as well.  My account was linked to my youtube account no problem.  My clan decided to create a youtube account and I wanted to link my Elite account to it (only mine no one elses as I created the clan youtube account).  So I unlinked my original youtube account and went to link the clan one and it doesn't work.  I've cleared my cache and used three different browsers (IE, Chrome and Firefox) and it keeps telling me that my clan account needs to create a YouTube Channel.  I tested this by relinking my original YouTube account and that works fine.  Does not want to link to the new account AT ALL on any of the browsers I have used.

    I also have that problem. It's telling me to create a Youtube channel but I already made one. And when I click on the button that sends me to Youtube, there is an error message on the top of the screen that says ''This account already has a username and channel"

    After I clicked the grant access button in youtube, it sent me back to call of duty elite. In the search box, at the end of the link, I saw : youtube_error=140. That may be a part of the problem.

    Sam problem here but after i hit grant access it just sends me back to the original call of duty elite page.

    I'm having sort of the same problem although it doesn't say that i need to create a youtube channel. everytime i try to link my youtube account this error message pops up "{"error":{"message":"restservice.exception.failed_authentication","code":0,"ad ditional_errors":["Consumer could not be authenticated. Authentication is required for GET requests."]}}"
