    Brick is posting constantly here as he knows they are broken. I have also yet to hear them give feedback in / to his shotgun thread. He said to play in good local lobbies constantly, I do too when using pump / lever action slow shotties, otherwise there is no point in trying to use them at all. He and many others (see thread) want to see constancy to guns as slow as the model, ksg and spas in their zone improved, why for instance is the ads accuracy so bad, intentionally not rewarding good aim? This would never interfere with weapon balance since people can use akimbo fmg secondaries or spam the striker / usas-12 with damage for kills cqb atm.

     

    Btw hosting still sucks. Assassin is overused since it counters more than half the things in the game. I have to concur bricks comment about the weapon / game balance team..

     

    They said to work on network improvements and weapon balance simultaneously. More guns could need a buff btw. M16 anyone?

    I posted this about Assassin, in an Assassin thread. Basically you're forcing people to use Assassin constantly. That shouldn't be the case. I kind of like support overall (as it rewards people with high spms & promotes an active play style), but it's very easy to spam uavs with it. It can be balanced a lot better.

     

    ATM Uavs are too easy to spam. They should be easier to locate and cuav should work against assassin users too unless they / players have the specialist bonus. There is basically one perk that counters it all..& you need it too to shoot down these uavs without getting shot / located.

     

    I don't mind uavs much as they do promote gun on gun action, but since they are so easy to get they should also disappear once the creator dies, with the above changes in the mix (bar for the advanced uav). Advanced uav should show assassin users, only 3x slower, but make it a 14 support (less of the steath bomber too, win-win). Oh and EMPs time should be cut in half.

     

    Furthermore remove marksman, the gaybeat sensor and the portable radar from the game. Like if spamming uavs this easily isn’t enough. Now we need to spoon-fed people (campers) kills..

     

    With all these changes we can actually pick hardline, qdraw, blast shield (buff the pro part!) without feeling handicapped constantly..

     

    I would give people on the specialist bonus the extra vision of marksman though.

     

    Marksman should be about Sniping skill not lighting people up like Christmas trees, this perk personally annoys the living crap out of me, I need to switch to assassin do to it constantly.

     

    Change Marksman to longer hold breath ability and Pro faster rechamber. I realize nothing will change, but your game is poorly balanced like this, just saying. Assassin pro has 99 abilities atm.. Every other perk 2 / 3.

    I know for a fact I'm going to get stick for this, I wouldn't be surprised if it gets deleted. But think about it... For 10 minutes when I say maybe stopping power was a good idea in MW2?

     

    No one spammed 'Cold-blooded' then, they mostly used Stopping power. And so more gun on gun thus it was a hell of a lot more fun.

    Hi GHANDI,

     

    I'm not sure if this is a bug or glitch but have you used the Reaper & AC-130 on the map Sanctuary?

     

    When I've used it, it seems the boundaries for the Reaper/AC-130 are limited compared to the other maps.

    Not sure if this is was intentional for the map but would like your opinion on this.

    At least that is still salvageable mine has gone under 6% it affects all full auto weapons when shooting at players, but I've noticed shooting down air support with the same gun seems ok and I can actually give my overall % some uplift

    In my personal opinion, Assassin is not over-powered. It is anti-recon, anti-counter-recon. While it appears to have a "catch-all" effect because there are several recon/counter-recon abilities. All of its effects are only meant to counter UAV/CUAV/HBS/Marksman, so the player using Assassin cannot be easily bested by poorly skilled players that have to watch their radar constantly. If there was anything I would change about assassin, it would be to have a down-sides: Assassin counters all those abilities if via use of EMF interference. How this would work is that they would not appear on the enemy radar, however PR/HBS would begin to show static. If the Assassin-user is within range of a player using a HBS/PR, the gun-mounted sensor (HBS) or the mini-map (PR) would start to diffuse similar to a radar jammer. This would at least give stalking-styled players an idea that an Assassin-user is nearby.

     

    Aside, Marksman I see as being a non-issue. It counters that complete unrealism that Thermal Scopes cannot track heat signatures through thin walls. In real life, what is the purpose of military thermal imaging if not to see through walls?

     

    My actual on suggestion to Infinity Ward would be to add three additional visible stats to weapons: Penetration, Impact, and Stability.

     

    Penetration and Stability already are accounted for in the game majorly in the background, and Impact, or stopping power, minorly. Stability is a huge factor is gun selection... it is why a person might choose the MP9 over the Skorpion, for example, despite toe Skorpion having what appears to be better stats. Penetration should be calculated in opposition to Impact. The example I give people is a 9mm ACP (not in the game) has marginally better accuracy and penetration, whereas a .45 Cal ACP has more stopping-power. Many prefer the stopping power over penetration, as if you are using a pistol, the target is likely too close for comfort. In game this could be reflected as varying degrees of "flinching". 7.62mm rounds, like those on the AK-47, while cause more significant flinching than 5.56mm rounds, like that of the M16A4. It might help differenciate weapons like the USP from the P99, because currently there is little purpose in having them both in the game.

     

    Now, my only gripe: Infinity Ward spent so much effort into making this game. Did you calculate weapon Mobility in a hurry? Since when does the M4 have the same mobility as the M16? All of the Assault Rifles and LMGs need some serious Mobility enhancements, as they are all the same, aside from the FAD. The M60E4 having the same Mobility as the MK46?! Really?

    I brought up this same issue a few months ago in this very thread, Ghandi said he would look into it for me but I never heard anything back about it. Something definitely happened as have seen posts on this all over the web but I'm assuming it's not actually that widespread as have only seen a few people post about it here.

     

    Also Ghandi if you do happen to see this did you have any more thoughts on my stat reset question that you said you would have a think about?? If you have forgot my question which was basically why does the ability to reset your stats keep getting moved? My original plan when I bought this game was to get to tenth prestige and then reset my stats to see how far I had come along in my MW3 adventure. However since you keep releasing more prestige's and setting back the ability to reset stats I am never going to be able to do this. I do not have the time to get to 20th Prestige so am a little disappointed by this.

     

     

     

    Yeah that accuracy thing for me as well..

     

    After first patch of the game being out my accuracy tanked bad from 23% down to 16.90%..

     

    I have battled it from the brink to 21.45% presently   using shotties type 95 and m-16 camping and making sure i hit what i aim at..

     

     

    Hey don't forget since the first patch i have had to change my playing tactics to even bring my k-d back up.

     

    That also tanked from 2.30 down to 1.59 now its presently at 1.97.. How you ask?? Camps R us. lol

     

    The game's bad hit detection forced me to play more defensively than offensive aggressively and camp shoot from behind cover like crazy.

     

    Oh well even if the game gets fixed the lag that is i will continue to play the way i currently do...

     

     

    I have never posted to complain because it seems like the devs here don't care so i never did but i have the same type issue's also..

    Assassin is almost anti- anything that bad players use to make themselves do better.

    I always used cold blooded in MW2.  I don't think I ever got stopping power pro in MW2.  Too many preds, ac130s, choppers, etc in the air.  As a matter of fact, all of my clan ran cold blooded once the air support kicked in.  We also used ninja to stop the heartbeat sensor noobs....Just sayin...

    I ran into this, and it certainly seems like it was put in on purpose specifically for that map as it doesn't happen on any others.  I also noticed that ALL killstreaks fly extremely low on that map, so it could just be a side effect of that.

     

    Either way I gave up at using those killstreaks on Sancturay, same as on Outpost with the giant stupid mountain blocking the map from AC/Reaper.  They went overboard nerfing assault killstreaks in this game, Sanctuary is just another example.
