Glitch or part of the game?

I don't know if anyone else has experienced this, but when you throw a c4 and decide to pick it back up, it explodes, and I die.

Happens to me sometimes, I think it might explode if you or someone else walk over it, I got to test that at some point

  Never happened to me, maybe someone shoots you when you want to pick it up and it explodes?

    No it's a glitch. First time I used C4 it happened and no one was shooting.

if you double tap the reload button on ccp, the c4 explodes without the need of detonation

I throw alot of C4, and here's what i've found.... It seems to matter how far you throw the C4. If you throw it more than approximately 15-20 yards, it will auto-detonate after a few seconds. If you throw it a shorter distance, it will not auto-detonate. If it's borderline on the distance, I wait a few seconds to pick it up to make sure it's not going to explode. I'm not sure if you'd call it a glitch, but it took me some time to get used to this.

I don't think this a glitch. Pressing A twice makes the C4 explode, it's the quick detonate feature. Pressing A to start sprinting and then pressing A shortly after to pick it up counts a an A double tap to the C4.

Yeah it's happened to me a lot of times, maybe it's what semper says but I don't really know. But this little bug has ruined my kill streak so many times :(

Tip: Don't use C4.

I really dont see the need for it....I always had luck when it came to sticking people with semtexes, so that's what I been using since BO.

  Don't use C4? I've been using the Satchel Charge ever since W@W and it is one of the best equipment in the game!

    BUt C4 is so unreliable, it takes time to throw and then you have to detonate it, and it doesnt fit my "Rush until you freaking die" Style. I even rush in homefront(dont do it!) and when i used to play BFP4F, I used to rush too...but with a helicopter =/
