The Next Update/Patch?

Does anyone know when the next update/patch will be. And if so what will it consist of.  Recently its been very hard to play due to troubles in the game.

    Patch 1.15, releases June 14th*

     

    • DMH nerf to C4 level
    • Dragunov re-balance
    • Fix for DS/SRP issue with Specialist
    • Competition LAN mode (supports MLG Pro Circuit requirements)
    • Blast shield buff in HC modes
    • Adds Prestige levels 16-20
    • Adds support for Content Drops 9-15

     

    "Might" include other stuff.

      That is what they are nerfing is Dead Mans Hand.

      I think one of the devs said that the dead man's hand nerf and blast shield buff already happended on 1.14. Same for the dragunov rebalance..

       

      Here's the message;

       

      Blast Shield buff.

      DMH nerf to C4 level.

      Dragunov rebalance.

       

      I know have been fixed and verified.

       

      DS/SRP issue with Specialist is being verified.

      MLG Pro Circuit LAN support is in test.

       

      I need to check the status of the PS3 lobby tick, the volume mix decrease and the waving riot shield fix.

       

      I think that gets me up to date.

       

      These will be released in the first TU available or hot-fixed if possible.

       

      If I've missed anything let me know. I'll forward this post to the team for ETAs.

       

      And yes we are still looking at host, performance issues.

    So still no fix for match making or lag issues...glad they have thier priorities straight and are catering towards the problems that the majority of the community is facing... /sarcasm

      I was thinking the same thing, The biggest issue on this game is Lag. And they just dont seem to care about it. as if its not really an issue.

      The lag will never be fixed (or the spawns), they will (as IW put it, be "improved")

       

      They've had 6 months to fix the main problems and still haven't done it.

       

      But hey, don't let that put you off buying MW4 or Black Ops 2!

        I know when the new cod comes out, i wont be in line at midnight for it. i will be waiting a couple weeks to see what its like from my friends. there not suckering me in again. Haha

      This game is worse now than it ever has been. With every update this game has seemed to take a step back. Patch 1.14 seems to have added more lag to existing lag. I love putting a whole clip into a guy 3ft away from me using a PP90 (with rapid fire) and getting, well, not even hit markers... This game sucks. The most comedic part of this game has been watching the f'ing kill cams. And not just the ones during the game when I get killed. I'm talking about the final killcams where I've killed a guy and it for sure isnt what i saw while killing him. I'm not nearly the best player out there, but i definitely can call some BS when i see it.. Not sure what it is?? The COD servers, the PSN, the P2P, hacking/aimbots, host disadvantage/lag compensation? Hopefully BO2 will be better. That being said, I'm not going to hold my breath........

    For six months there's nothing in these forums but LAG, HOSTING, MATCHMAKING, SPAWNING. And what are the ignorant idiots doing?

    DMH is a BS death streak, the blast radius is insanely too large.

     

    As for the patch, I guess I shouldn't be surprised. I will def. not be buying Black Ops 2 at release, I'll let one of my COD fanboy buddies pick it up and see how he likes it and how the lag is before I buy and even then I'll probably just wait till some poor soul trades it back in. Just judging by the crapfest this game has been since release and how they've completely ignored the biggest problems the majority of the community complains about just because they already got their big fat paychecks for the huge release last year.

      Woops! 1.15 will be coming out sooner than i thought! (but still no online fixes or improvements)

       

      PS3 Patch 1.15

       

      - 400 new ranks included in 5 new prestige levels

       

      - Dead Man’s Hand reduce explosive radius

       

      - Dragunov rebalance

       

      - Fixed DS/SRP issue with Specialist class

       

      - Blast Shield Buff in hardcore modes

       

      - Fixed an issue where some “Defense” kills were not incrementing on the leaderboard

      - Increased damage reduction for Blast Shield in Hardcore modes

       

      - Fix for Kill Confirmed - Update the player score before updating the team score

    According to my reply from G IH A IN ID II in Modern Warfare 3 Title Update and Hot Fix Notes to my question regarding the PS3 patch, he said that we'll get this patch in the first half of June. This clears up the confusion that we have regarding if we get the patch this month.

    can you explain what you mean when you say specialist is being fixed and C4 being nerfed?

      Yuu need to read the acronyms.

       

      The dead silence and sitrep pro issue when using specialist is being fixed.

       

      The Dead Man's hand blast radius is being nerfed  to the same blast level as the C4 you equip. There are no changes to the C4 you equip in the "lethal" menu
