another PS3 user here with an unplayable game. disk read errors suck

I have MW3 myself, i started getting the disk read error on my ps3 phat and thought it was my ps3 causing it, I also have a ps3 slim, and my first game it froze and had a disk read error.  this is garbage.  There are no scratches on my disk what so ever and i can't even play a full round.

This is the second time MW3 as screwed me over, the first time cost me 2 prestige tokens. I would prestige and use a token then it would reset back 30 levels or so to the previous prestige.

Stop stealing our money.

yes exactly right since last patch at lease 10 friends i know including me all get either disk read error or it just freezes its defiantly the last patch causing this problem hope they make new patch that fixes this real soon lots of people getting pissed off about this problem since last patch

the MW3 disc is labour intensive, it does in some case's cause problems with the lens. You either have to clean it and/or get it repaired if it starts doing it to other games.

We tested this by replacing a problem PS3 with a new one and had no issues there after with the MW3 disc or other game disc's.This normally accurs at about the 19 to 20 days played mark depending how old your PS3 is and how many hours you have put into other games.
