    please infinty ward, i beg of u. please release getaway to free for all. this map is too beautiful to be restricted to one game type we probably gonna stop playing in a couple weeks. PLEASE

    Hey man, please lobby to release Face Off maps in FFA and FFA Gunplay. Also, I think it would be great to put in 3v3 and 4v4 in the Face Off mode. 1v1 is lame IMO so if a sacrifice is needed to do that you have my vote. But anyway for sure put the maps in FFA and FFA Gunplay.

    GHANDI....there are still major issues with lag and spawns.  I was playing with local players with my party tonight but the spawns are horrendous and so is the lag.  I spawned on foundation on at least 3 occasions and had 3 or more enemies running right at me.  Also, while playing a match on sanctuary, about every 2 seconds or so, the frame rate for everyone in the lobby went to crap.  Not really sure the exact techological term to use so I called it crap.  I played for about 45 minutes tonight and have had enough for the evening.  This game has made one person in this world extremely happy, my wife.  With me not playing as much, I'm spending more time with her.  Heck, I may even get lucky later because I'm not playing this lag infested and spawn death game...lol

    Great news from Casa Esquela! 

     

    (But not as great as yours, amigo... )

     

    Whatever was broken since the last patch that allowed me 1 or 2 good matches for every 10 or so stat-paddings (for the other fellow) seems to have been fixed.  Much to my relief as I actually found myself looking forward to playing tonight.  It was an alien and rather dirty feeling, so I'm glad it has passed.

    GHANDI,

     

    I apologize if it's been answered already, but why is the final game winning killcam skipped if the guy that died immediate leaves after dying?  I don't even think that person has to dashboard and I know the person isn't the host.

     

    I don't understand why the final cam is dependent on the dying party to be present during the playing of the video.  That seems like a bug.

    Was hoping for the best with update 1.14 but after 2 unplayable games just minutes ago it's clearly the lag compensation. And until IW ends their intractable denials that it's not their implementation of lag compensation that is causing the problem, nothing will get resolved.

    Here I kill someone who is two steps in front of what I see live and where I fire, followed by a head on confrontation were I am basically dead when I get to see my opponent on my screen in live play. I estimate that's about a 1/2 second I am being compensated and that's after the patch. Nice job guys .

    Matchmaking still does not work , even with dlc turned of it still goes through the whole cycle of pings , worked fine before tu 10. Is this ever going to be fixed , game is great when it works.

    The way sitrep pro has been patched was a big mistake.  It should be set up so that it only counters out the dead silence of enemy footsteps.  It should NOT counter out your own dead silence or that of your teammates.  This glitch makes the two perks useless with specialist bonus since you now hear your footsteps, your teammates, and the enemy.  If an administrator reads this please comment back on WHEN or IF this will be patched.

    Yeah we understand that, but by increasing the range of sessions that can be found with each jump, increases the amount of chance that a player(s) with a slower ping to a host are matched up with a player(s) that have a fast ping to a host. Thus increasing the chances of finding matches at the sacrafice of players being not synced.

     

    So for example: Player 1(DSL)       Finding games <100ms

                             Player 2(Fiber)      Finding games <100ms

     

    Imagine Player 1 and Player 2, they can both find sessions of any value below 100ms. So say they both get into the same 90ms session. Even though they are both pinging that session at 90ms, they are not using the same connection. I would say that Player 1 would have a disadvantage against Player 2. This is were lag comp would come in to help. However, Player 2 should have been able to easily get into sessions of below 50ms, <60ms, or <70ms. But since it jumps from <50ms to <100ms, you can see the problem that was created. The range of players with faster connections and slower connections playing together has increased and thus the range of disadvantage and advantage is more noticable. In MW2 the 10ms intervals gave the players like Player 2 more chances to be matched with players of the same connection, hence <50, 60, 70. Since these intervlas were increased and disadvantage/advantage has increased, the default lag comp code/value that was set in MW2 would surley not work as well for MW3 because of this. And this is where your talk about interpolation comes in. 

     

    Now take into affect different/misconfigured routers, packet loss, net load, jitter into each players connection, and the small change that was made into MW3 just became a lot bigger. DSL has a lot more jitter than a fiber connection, especially if it's not just the player on the connection. Don't fix what wasn't broke.Hope I came clear on this.

     

    And mac didn't you say the intervals in MW2 were set when IW was trying to find a fix for lag or something in a rush. Are we not learning from history of a past title?
