I thought this was the case too. Played 5 hours this morning and it seemed like everything was good. Tried to play a little more tonight because I was really enjoying it this morning, and some odd moments are going on again. I hope it's just because the patch needs a few days to reach everyone or a lot of people are downloading the maps. I don't really know the true effects of all that, but I see it being discussed so it gives me slight hope. This game is extremely fun when it runs smooth. I can enjoy other shooters like BF3, but they don't have the type of fun factor Call of Duty games CAN have. That being said, MW3 has had a ton of angry moments, while BF3 was always consistent and generally fun. Oh well... I'll hope the best.

I was one of those positive posters about what seems to be an improvement.

Outside of them screwing up Drop Zone in the latest update... I would say that my improved/positive game play has held.  much less "WTF?" momments and more overall fun.

We'll see if that continues tonight when I get home.
