Im older, and I completely understand what you are talking about.  I usually have to start a party so I can hear no one in the lobby just to have a good time.  But to the OP I have experienced the hate, and racist comments if you consider calling me a honkey racist, which I could care less.  But on the day it happened I was already in a pissed off mood for some reason so I contacted support here.  They can not do anything because of messages or in game chat and told me to contact xbox.  So dont do this unless it gets out of hand because they dont take lightly to these kind of conversations, and harrassments due to this system (not game) being a family system.  Well got a hold of them via there website,  filled out there page asking for my info, phone, gamertag, ect.  This was late I think 10 or so at night, and low and behold not 5 minutes later my phone rang with a representive on the line.  Asked the situation, what was said,  the messages that were sent,  and then goes into his spill about its not acceptable.  Well me being me I was kind of like yea, ok,  so nothing will be done im guessing since you didnt ask me to provide the message in my inbox.  Well talking to him for about 30 minutes lead me to find out that xbox has access to all inplay conversations past and present,  and can look at all your sent and recieved messages at any given time.  Well I kept one of the messages just so I would have access to look at the guys profile and see if anything was done about it.  Well a week and a half later from the time this happened I pulled him up to look, and at that time it said he hadnt been online since the day I reported it.  It could have all been a conciedence,  or he may have just not been on, I dont know.  I just know I talked to them,  gave them the info,  then check a bit later and he had not been on.  If they did take care of it good for them,  if it just happened it was a time he wasnt on I still felt good because im still in the thinking they took care of it.  But there you go,  a story and a possible way to take care of these kind of situations if you choose to.  It usually doesnt bother me,  he just happened to catch me on an off day.

Like I stated earlier im older so in turn this subject bugs the hell out of me.  First off this is a rated M game,  so parents need to grow some balls and learn to tell there kids no.  Second,  all this crap now day,  oh son/daughter you messed up,  lets talk about it.......  Really?  Just talk?  Back in the good days a kid screwed up,  you got your ass whooped,  and then you lost whatever toy you liked most.  Come on now,  Oh I cant touch my own kid because he will call the police and say I beat him.  People my age got whooped,  my parents got whooped,  its been going on for ages and has worked so far.  All these little kids that play this game,  and shouldnt be playing this game need to learn how to act in the real world.  Talking crap over the game does not make you special,  it makes you look like an idiot.

In turn all I can say to this subject I miss the good old days.

Really Frack, I dont know about you,but the way kids talk these days, you can say nothing has changed you just hear about it more, but if you believe that then I have a lot of property around this world that I will sell you. Back in the day of Atari, when you played with friends you talked crap face to face, and I didnt go walking around town or when I was playing sports like baseball and basketball against people I didnt know and just start talking crap. Yeah, you had your bad seeds, just like any other generation, but the generation today is filled with a lot more bad seeds than there has ever been. You pratically cant go into a lobby without someone saying the N-Word. I dont know about you, but I grew up in a southern town of about 15,000 people and I cant remember a time that everyone walked around using the N-Word. And I think a lot of it has to do with kids listening to rap, and the black community throw it around talking to each other, but still doesnt make it right.

The old days are always better because as you get older everything changes, and there are changes for the better like xbox opposed to Atari, but the electronic age and internet has changed totally how people communicate with each other. You remember the old days being better, cause as I have you see how the world is changing, and going in a not so good direction, and you remember when people were actually civil to each other, and you knew who your neighbors were.
